My video in 2023 got over 800k views on tiktok on the second time I posted but just 200 views on the first time and let me show you why ✨👇🏻

The first time, I posted it as a regular work video just to show the before & after. The second time, there was a trend going around and the trending sound gave me the idea for this content 🙈😂

Same work. Same video. Completely different result.

And it made me realize something about creating content: sometimes what we want to show isn’t necessarily what people want to watch.

As lash artists, of course we’re proud of our work and we want people to see how beautiful the set is 😂 But from the viewer’s side, another before & after might just be… another before & after.

Sometimes it’s not about changing your work - it’s about changing the way you present it.

Give people a reason to stop, watch, relate, laugh or get curious.

This video is still one of my favorite reminders that good work matters, but how you turn it into content matters too. 🤍
