AI Makeup Inspo Pics: We’re back again!

In my last reel I talked about what I love about AI inspiration photos as a mood board. But …there is a catch!

Something created digitally can only be recreated digitally.

When AI creates a makeup look, it doesn’t have to deal with pores, fine lines, or gravity. It doesn’t have to survive 14 hours of happy tears. It doesn’t have to navigate the reality of real skin texture. It’s unaffected by someone’s skincare routine, whether they are dehydrated or not, if they slept enough, and so much more.

So much goes into makeup laying right and lasting, beyond just the skill of the artist.

When clients bring me an AI photo, my job is to give them the most elevated, bulletproof HUMAN version of that vibe.

But I know the gap between a computer-generated image and real skin can be hard to visualize so maybe I’ll edit one of my real brides until she looks AI to illustrate the gap.

And honestly? We don’t mind it when brides bring them to us.

A lot of artists get frustrated by the impossible skin textures or physics-defying hair in AI images, but in our studio, we see them as the ultimate mood board. When the bride in this video showed me her AI photos, I was thrilled.
