Could Improve Heart Health
♥️
Coconut oil, according to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), consists of what are considered healthy fatty acids. These healthy fatty acids aid in lowering levels of bad cholesterol in the body. Combining this with THC – which binds best to fats – could help you see your blood pressure reduced and enhanced cardiovascular health.
•
Help Control Metabolism
🎛️
This might come as a shock, but the “drug” that causes the munchies could also help you keep your metabolism in check. Some research has found that those who consume cannabis had less body fat than those who don’t. Put that together with a study that finds consuming coconut oil is also good at helping to regulate your metabolism.
•
Reduce Inflammation, Aches and Pains
🦵🏾
Often, inflammation and pain go hand in hand – where there is swelling there is likely pain, and cannabis infused topicals are the perfect alternative to prescription pain killers. Since coconut oil is high in fats and THC binds to fats, this is one of the most popular oils to combine with THC for cannabis infused topical relief.
•
Anxiety and Depression
🌞
Cannabis is well known as being able to help reduce feelings of stress, anxiety and depression – so adding that to coconut oil, which could help regulate hormones, could only make it more effective. If you are suffering from any form of anxiety or depression, including insomnia, then cannabis infused coconut oil is an excellent option. However, for best results, you may want to consider a coconut oil friendly restaurant.

The best recipe for simple and delicious Cannabis Brownies made using either cannabis-infused coconut oil, cannabutter, or cannabis sugar. No fancy ingredients, just your classic, delicious, medicated brownies that are ready in just 25 minutes.
🌿
•¾ cup all-purpose flour*
•½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder*
•½ teaspoon salt
•¼ teaspoon baking powder
•½ cup cannabis-infused coconut oil or cannabutter*
•1 cup white sugar (or cannabis-sugar)
•¼ cup brown sugar
•2 large eggs
•1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
🌿
*INSTRUCTIONS
*Preheat the oven to 350° F.
*Grease an 8"x8" metal baking pan and set aside.
*In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the dry ingredients. Sift the flour and the cocoa powder to remove any lumps, then add the salt, followed by the baking powder. Set aside.
*In a separate medium-sized bowl, cream together the cannabis oil (or cannabutter), white sugar, and brown sugar.
*Add the eggs and vanilla to the creamed sugar and beat on medium speed for one minute (note: the color of the mixture should lighten a bit).
🌿
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and beat on low until everything is well incorporated.
Transfer the batter to a greased baking pan. Lightly tap the pan to even out the batter.
Optional: add any topping as desired, like sea salt.
Place the pan in the oven to bake for 25-30 minutes.
The time will depend on your oven and your brownie consistency preferences. Test the finished brownies with a toothpick. Unlike making a cake, the toothpick does NOT need to come out clean. Making fudgy brownies will leave deliciousness on the toothpick. Just verify that what is in the toothpick doesn't have a batter consistency, which would indicate that the batter needs to bake a bit longer.
If you can wait, allow the brownies to cool for 30 minutes. Enjoy and repeat!

THC-infused topicals? (Read More Below)
•
•
•
•
There are numerous medical benefits when it comes to THC-infused topicals. For starters, seeing that topicals are ‘area specific’ medication, you can treat a wide range of conditions with it. From pain and inflammation to alleviating itches, scratches or even bug bites.
•
This is because THC has a lot of medical properties, including;
•
• Anti-Bacterial Agent
• Anti-Viral Properties
• Anti-tumor properties
• Analgesic
• Pain Reliever
• Anti-spasmodic
• Anti-Oxidant
•
As you can see, there are plenty of medicinal benefits to THC. Since THC needs to enter the bloodstream to produce its euphoric effects, applying it topically won’t get you high as it doesn’t reach the bloodstream via topicals. Only trans-dermal topicals will have the ability to get you high.

What is Cannabis Tincture? (Read More Below)
•
•
•
Tinctures are one of the oldest methods of concentrating plant compounds in medicine, and have historically been used to extract the benefits of a wide variety of plants, including cannabis. Traditionally tinctures are made using the Folk Method of submerging plant material in grain alcohol; here at CVD we combine organic cane alcohol with our CO2 cannabis extract to produce a tincture with consistent cannabinoid content for accurate dosing.
•
•
Drop-by-Drop Dosing. By allowing you to dispense a single drop or two, tinctures allow you to titrate precisely the right dose. Concentrates, flower and baked goods are generally harder to titrate because they can’t be administered drop-by-drop.
•
Minimum effective dose. Tinctures offer a great way to learn your minimum effective dose (MED), or the smallest amount of cannabis that is effective for managing your condition. Learning your MED saves money, lowers your cannabis tolerance, helps you select products with the correct potency, and can result in more effective treatment. We recommend that patients begin with 2.5-5mg of THC, then titrate up drop by drop until you reach your MED, waiting at least 60 minutes between doses. Keep in mind that multiple doses throughout a day can be cumulative in effect, and may result in a more potent experience.
•
Long shelf-life and flexibility. Tinctures can last for years if kept in a cool, dark place, and can be added to a wide variety of foods including juices, smoothies, soups, sauces and more. Just be sure to keep your tinctures capped tightly to prevent evaporation, and shake well before consuming because separation may occur over time.

Lip Balm Infused with THC? (Read More Below)
•
•
•
Cannabinoid-infused lip balm is infused with cannabis, and it has several different effects than standard lip balm. The main score is obvious: it soothes lips, hydrating and coating them with a cooling, flavorful salve. Beyond that, most cannabis lip balms also are a discreet way to consume ma*****na; some products give a little buzz, either resulting in a little invigoration or relaxation, depending on the strain of origin
