I didn’t start HYROX because it was easy.
I started because I was tired of negotiating with my own excuses.
Every sprint, every sled push, every heavy lift is proof that I’m becoming someone stronger — physically and mentally. 🖤
At 43, I’m not chasing perfection.
I’m chasing discipline. Confidence. Longevity. And the version of me that refuses to quit when things get uncomfortable.

The scale doesn’t tell the whole story—years later, it’s the unexpected wins that prove how much you’ve changed.
It’s realizing you can run longer without thinking about it.
It’s putting on clothes and not overanalyzing how they fit.
It’s having energy you didn’t have before.
It’s confidence showing up in places that have nothing to do with weight.
Those are the wins that last.

There’s something different about training for HYROX… it’s not just physical — it’s mental.
This kind of training has been pushing me in ways I didn’t expect. Not just in workouts, but in mindset. Every session is a reminder that I’m capable of more than I think.
I already know race day is going to be tough. It’s going to test me. It’s going to be uncomfortable. But here’s what I keep coming back to:
I can do hard things.
And if it doesn’t kill me… I will finish.
Will I be the fastest? Probably not.
Will I be the last one across the line? Maybe.
But none of that matters.
Because this is my first race — which means one thing is guaranteed:
✨ I’m getting a PR.
This isn’t about perfection.
It’s about showing up, pushing through, and proving to myself that I’m stronger than my excuses.
One step. One station. One breath at a time.
And I will finish.
