Brunches at
It is in the downtown Toronto. Beautiful upscale restaurant with an amazing view.
You have to book in advance cause they get booked up so fast. The food was decent. I liked my friends mushroom toast. I wasn’t really hungry so I ordered their parfait with a mimosa.
Overall 8/10 for ambiance and food combined.

Summer in Toronto is in full swing! I’m excited to try find the best patios in town.
First on the 2023 list is I went there for brunch. Honestly I didn’t expect to like the food as much as I did. The vibe was great.
I ordered the chicken tenders with waffles, my friend ordered the vegetarian eggs bene. We both enjoyed our food, and people watching.
At night time this is a happening place.

Over the past few weeks I have been evaluating my my energy distribution. Meaning, how much though, energy, money and time am I putting towards something. Either it be negative or positive, I had to be super honest with my self.
I really didn’t like with I saw so I had to take a step back and reevaluate my daily activity and if they were bringing me towards my ultimate goals. If they weren’t, I had to decided how important they actually are in my life.
Because everything and everyone outside of you can either increase your energy or decrease it, so if I felt something was decreasing my energy without contributing towards my ultimate goal, is this really worth it?
It’s hard, changing habits.. but for me I’ve become in love with the pain. I know every time I go through a difficult period, it’s because my life is elevating to the next level.
Through difficulty there is growth.

Guys, I’m so friggen shy when it comes to dating. I’ve only had 2 boyfriends my entire life.
It’s really hard for me to put myself out there because I usually only like talking to one person at a time, and anytime it doesn’t work out I can’t just start talking to someone new right away. I want to make sure I take my time to learn and heal from every experience.
I also only date with intention, so I’m really upfront on what I’m looking for, because I hate wasting time or leading people on. So this really narrows the dating pool to people that are also interested in the same thing, and ready for the next step in their life.
All of these practices I’ve put in place to set healthy boundaries, and keep my feelings in check. It’s hard to walk away when you love someone, but sometimes your self respect in knowing you deserve to be treated better comes before potential future partners.
It’s also hard when I am usually more independent. It hasn’t been a deal breaker yet, guys that still live at home tend to then use my place as their personal getaway, without contributing anything to housework, rent or bills. Yet some still have the audacity to complain about paying for food or night out. This makes me think of myself as their mom which is a huge turnoff. I need someone to add value to my life. Most single independent women can relate to this.
I guess I’m still spending time with myself and figuring it all out. I’m in no rush, I just know I’m not settling again. I’m excited to meet my future partner and spoil him with my cooking, friendship, kisses and love. Lool Until then, I’m so grateful for my friends and family that treat me the best ❤️

A question I get asked a lot when people get to know me is, How do you stay happy?
With life’s constant battles, and external influence, work etc.. it can feel overwhelming a lot of the times.
For me, I decide to be happy everyday. I make this conscious decision to focus on things that I can control that bring me joy, and be grateful for everyone and everything around me. When I prioritize my happiness, the negative events seem to be less critical and less important in my sense of priority.
A good way to create this habit is by giving gratitude everything, this subconsciously helps us realize the abundance of joy already present in our lives.
