Why are fermented foods so popular these days? ✨🍹
That’s exactly what Breakfast Television asked when they invited us to showcase Tonica Kombucha on a recent episode!

And here’s the answer: Fermented Foods have been part of traditional diets for centuries, our ancestors knew that eating fermented foods with every meal was essential for healthy digestion.

Why? During fermentation, living enzymes, bacteria, and acids are formed, all working together to support digestion. Plus, fermented foods like kombucha, sauerkraut & kimchi are already partially digested through the process, so they are much easier for our bodies to digest and absorb the nutrients from.

As we age, our own digestive enzymes naturally decline, making it even more important to include living kombucha, kimchi, kefir, and raw yogurt in our diets.
