Solomon’s Seal: The Root of Wisdom 🌱
I’m holding Solomon’s Seal in my hand - a rhizome, not a root, though it feels like the spine of the earth herself. Thick, knotted, marked with the scars of old growth. This is a plant of restoration - of tendons, joints, ligaments, and the deep places where body and spirit fray.
She teaches repair through patience, resilience, and right relationship. Not to force, but to mend. Not to rush, but to remember.
🍁It’s autumn, the season to harvest her medicine - and I did so on the last dark moon 🌑 - when her life force has drawn back underground. I’ve just tinctured mine - a golden elixir steeping in the quiet dark - for the months ahead, when we’ll all need her reminder:

Freshly unearthed from my garden, these elegant, ivory roots hold the medicine of balance and repair. Traditionally used for joints, tendons, and connective tissue, Solomon’s Seal helps restore fluidity where there’s dryness, strengthen where there’s strain, and soften where there’s tightness.
This harvest was done with gratitude - each rhizome cleaned, trimmed, and gently dried before becoming a tincture to ease movement and nourish the musculoskeletal system.
