Microneedling 🪄
These comparison photos were taken immediately post 1st Microneedling session and 34 days post 2nd Microneedling.

The area between the eyebrows has evened out and smoothed over along with the pores on the nose being more refined.

Upper lip has a brighter complexion, crease across the chin has been plumped up and the scar on the side of the lip is reducing in length.

Pores on the cheeks have been significantly reduced in appearance.

Microneedling is a great way to brighten the skin, reduce post acne marks, tighten pores, refine fine lines and helps to produce more collagen. This treatment delivers that youthful glow we all would like to maintain as we age. One of the benefits is that it is great for all ages with your mid 20’s being the best point to start.
It is recommended you receive a minimum of 3 consecutive Microneedling sessions 5 weeks apart in order to achieve maximum results, however for some, additional sessions would be required. Not everyone’s skin condition is the same therefore it is best to continue Microneedling treatments until you have attained the full benefits and improvements. Maintenance is suggested with regular facials, skincare products/tools and the gradual Microneedling treatment to preserve your investments.

Teenage Facial 🥸
What I have gathered from my appointments with teenagers is that they are aware and interested in skincare, both male and females, yet have no clue where to begin.
Some may even be applying prescribed acne medication, but the doctors don’t inform on how to properly care for the skin as not to further irritate or dry out.
Stepping into a new territory of self care can be intimidating, especially for teens who can feel awkward and insecure about their complexion.

Microneedling 🪄
Rolling needles over your face may seem like a bad idea for people with a darker complexion, since deep skin trauma can cause dark spots. A very valid concern, but that requires a cut to the dermis and that is something that should not happen when microneedling is performed correctly.
With this treatment, you want to stimulate collagen by hitting the dermis and with the service of a professional esthetician, you can achieve the brightening effect microneedling offers.
Ensuring prevention of any risk comes before & after the service like temporarily discontinuing products that can cause skin sensitivity or applying SPF everyday.
Candidates with dark skin tones should consider booking multiple treatments spaced apart with a shorter needle length for microneedling as to not cause excessive irritation which can become hyperpigmentation.
