Why We're Cool

WHO IS BOO'S BEES? The company was born out of love, curiosity, exploration, and consistency. Our curiosity still to this day helps us stay engaged by exploring ancient and modern skin and hair remedies. We're all travellers just like the bees, whether that's exploring local forests or jungles & rain forests around the world. We as a company will always feel our best when we connect back into nature, so the consistency is really a way of living life, outdoors. Boo is my best friend, my 4 legged friend, my lab x mix doggy. She's been visiting the bees ever since she was a puppy. I decided to name the company after the two things I love dearly, the bees and Boo. She's the teams pick me up friend, bringing endless amounts of love. WHAT MAKES US WHO WE ARE? We help the local native bee population and butterflies by planting mini eco systems and provide housing and food. We donate a select percentage from the dog treats you purchase to fund dog foster home organizations. We all believe natural and or organic ingredients should be at the forefront of out minds. Creating a powerhouse of an ingredient list was so much fun. We believe there is a new way of thinking, it's progressive it's needed. Boo's Bees is more than a beauty line, we're an advocate for health. WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A BEEKEEPER

To me it means doing everything in your control to help the bees. It's a sad truth but varroa mite an invasive parasite is one of the leading causes to the decline in bee population. I have experienced this. To always think of ways to help : One of our team members thought of searching for plant species to help fight against varroa mite destructor (VMD) . Guess what we found... the answers! This upcoming spring we will be planting native plant species in Ontario and "medicinal flowers"

Everything I do I do it with love. Every time I visit the bees I align back into an energy that just feels right. I find my flow state of mind. THE START OF SOMETHING NEW

I fell into beekeeping by watching a video online, from there I spent countless hours just learning. About two years into beekeeping my mother developed rosacea, a skin condition that causes the skin to flare up. I searched if honey could help and it can. From there I created her a face oil to ease inflammation. THE FAMILY LEGACY CONTINUES

Some of my fondest memories stem from working in the bee garden. This is my father and this is our garden.

Boo's Bees is committed to caring for the Honey Bees in the same way my family always has. We put their wellbeing first in everything we do. This spring we will plant a "medicinal" garden to help fight off a parasite called varroa mite destructor. It's an idea we came up with to see if we can help. Certain plant species can help fight off these parasites! A percentage of the profits from the dog treats you buy go to help fund dog foster organizations. We love giving back, we love nature. Honey is ancient, tracing back to Ancient Egypt. We believe honey being our forefront ingredient and sourcing it ourselves brings magic to our recipes. EXPERIMENTING WITH HONEY AND SKIN

A beekeeper’s family member developed rosacea and I soon learned honey can assist. I then discovered how the moisturizing and nourishing properties of honey could work wonders for inflammation. THE START OF MY ONLINE JOURNEY
