Do you think powder brows is a waste of money?

Pixel Beauty 2024 is a beautiful athletic stunner who came to us wanting to have a flush of color on her lips. At first Ms.Cat thought she has dark pigments on the lining of her lips however in person she has pale lips and needed a boost of color.

For her first session Ms.Cat took her time to make sure her lips will have a natural pinkish color, and for her 2nd session she boosted the color to make her lips pop.

Not all Asian lips need to be neutralized! Here's why.

There a few things that you can check whether or not to neutralize Asian lips:

1. Are the lips pale?
If lips are pale, colourless, and look a little bit transluscent or shiny then it's okay to use the target colour without having to neutralize.

2. She's a Fitz 3-4, should I neutralize?
It depends on the lips. Some clients have very pale complexion but have dark or pigmented lips due to either genetics or environmental factors, while some clients are a bit more tan but have very pale lips. We have to remember that the Fitzpatrick scale is a guide amd that there are some cases where it doesn't apply.

In this case, initially I thought that I had to neutralize Jolina's lips because she's a Fitz 3. After she sent in photos of her bare lips, I noticed that they were very pale. She wanted a bit of a bright pink so I went in straight with Evenflo's Lulu's Rose. We both loved the final result!
