racter that took up his entire bedroom wall. I remember it taking him a few hours to finish and then also asking “what is mom going to say?” just before the lock to the front door opened. I of course left the room immediately as I did not want to be an accomplice in this “crime”. To my surprise my mother did not say a word, just walked into the room and walked out. The following morning, he started to paint and from that moment forward my appreciation for art then evolved into a love for it. It was that love for creating what I wanted others to see. The feeling I got from drawing was a sense of freedom; a freedom that allowed me to create whatever came to mind. I believe that everyone is an artist. The real challenge is figuring out how to remain an artist as we grow older. For me it's through makeup. The ability to see my vision come to life is what makes me admire makeup, the fabulous looks I can create, eyeshadows paired with the perfect lipsticks etc. We all have our own beauty which is unique to us and makes us diverse. Whether it is something as small as the shape of your nose or how your eyelashes compliment your eyes, not everyone can see this beauty or knows how to best accentuate these traits which is why I am here. I am here to bring out that beauty we all have and I plan on doing so through the artistry relative to makeup. People have often said that “using makeup is creating what people do not naturally have”, to them I say “you could not be more incorrect”. Makeup enhances one’s true beauty through bringing to light the “insufficiencies” one may have and presenting it in a way that better enhances the individual’s overall magnificence. Makeup should be fun and enjoyable! I’m not saying you shouldn’t appreciate the skin you are in, because everyone should love themselves first. What I am saying is to spice it up with a pop of red lipstick.
