Busted out a face using a bunch of 💕 products that I absolutely LOVE!!!! 😍😍😍

Spent a good portion of the day on the terrace☀️ (I will always be consciously extremely almost undeservingly grateful for this every single day)

I put makeup 💄 on so here’s my face. It was the first time in I don’t know how long so I obviously took a picture with little Frida because I’m feeling myself and haven’t been in a long time so it was nice to feel good.

Also I saw friends for a nice little bubble hangout, I don’t think I realized how down I was or how much I needed to be around friends and it helped so much. Oh anxiety and depression just when I thought I could move away from it, it’s a constant battle, sometimes minute by minute but I do well to stay thankful for what I have, dear family and friends whom I appreciate more with each day, the simple things like feeling the sun on my face almost every day is a privilege, living a more simple life though it may be temporary, the ability to walk and taking long walks and again just practicing being thankful for what I have and reflect on the life I’m living even if it isn’t all planned out (not even a little) all help me to keep moving forward even on the tougher days....all of this and comedy, comedy is soothing, breaks you out of a bad head space, can bring people together and can be so uplifting when done just the right way, I will always be thankful for comedy❤️ sorry I don’t know why I wrote an essay 🤷🏾‍♀️ 🇨🇦

This amazing woman is originally from Ecuador 🇪🇨 I was lucky enough to meet her here in Spain 🇪🇸 just a few months ago and we became fast friends. She is a kind and generous soul and during the height of the pandemic full lockdown was so good to me whenever I was anxious or stressed, always ready with a kind word and a big hug, never made me feel ashamed, judged or embarrassed something I am incredibly grateful for. Her ever constant optimistic/positive attitude was and is so appreciated, it’s easy to see why people are so drawn to her ❤️ She is a high energy, ray of sunshine in human form ☀️ always ready for an adventure and is a mean boxer she will take you out seriously 🥊!! So grateful for her friendship, glad to end 2020 on this positive note 💫❤️

I have been so lucky to meet such wonderful people during my short time here in Spain so far. Ave is one of those people ❤️ She is a kind, supportive and generous woman, something that has become even more appreciated during these strange pandemic times.
Ave is amazing, well travelled from Nigeria 🇳🇬 originally, spending much of her childhood in the UK 🇬🇧 and a few years now in Spain 🇪🇸 . She is as intelligent as she is gorgeous 🌺 having traded in the life of an architect for business management at the moment and always having multiple projects and new ideas on the go, I can’t wait to hear what’s next!
We did a little makeup lesson which was fun for me especially after wearing no makeup in forever and living in nothing but yoga pants that I don’t do yoga in ever, they’re my eating pants dammit! I digress, lol, so fun to help her see just how stunning she really is ❤️ the best part of a makeup artists job ❤️

Let me tell you just how down to earth Joshua Jackson is. Dude is an ‘A-lister’ and could’ve fully requested his makeup to be applied in an east facing room at a temperature of precisely 17 degrees with no eye contact act. Nope, not this guy, he shook my hand introduced himself, he apologized for the state of his stubble growth because his clippers broke at the hotel while he was halfway through shaving. I told him it could be a new look, he’s in Hollywood 🎥 people do weird stuff there and if anyone could make it a thing, he could. He considered it for a half second,!I told him, dude do it! ‘Half-beard/half-moustache!’ I’m so here for it! Followed by more jokes 😂

Anyways he asked if I had a set of clippers he could borrow in the studio and we tried to find him one but couldn’. He said no worries and asked if there was a Rite-Aid or equivalent nearby. I said there was a Shoppers across the street he, apologizes to me and says okay great and he’ll be right back. He goes out to get them on his own, didn’t send someone from his team and when he returns he asks my permission to use my space to trim his beard. I said of course whatever you want and he covers up all my makeup space and cleans up after himself. Seriously what a lovely, funny, respectful and humble person he is. It’s so refreshing in this industry, he was an absolute pleasure to work with! Still hoping for the half beard one day though 🤞🏽

Going through pics and because I miss makeup and normal life, a little throwback to the time I had the opportunity to do makeup for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. An opportunity I am still incredibly grateful for.
