I’m sure by now you have heard the wonderful news! We are finally allowed to reopen salon in Toronto after 7!!!! Months of being closed. We were closed for 31 weeks, can you even believe it?

My books are open for existing clientele and referrals! I cannot wait to see you all.

Just some reminders, covid conversations are not happening in the studio, it is very overwhelming talking about pandemic life all day, every day….let’s keep it light and fun, tell me your secrets and let’s laugh! I charge per hour (plus additional product), my hourly rate and more info can be found on my website.

I’m Stef, welcome to my studio!

I cannot believe we are still in the position that we are in. As I’m sure a lot of you know, the government has decided that the beauty industry will be able to open in the second stage of reopening. Based off of that, it seems as though I will be able to start booking clients early July.

I will only be working 4 days a week and having firm boundaries on not over booking my schedule. I have changed my pay structure as well, I will not be charging for individual services, I will be charging based off of the amount of time your hair takes, plus additional product, regardless of gender. Pricing is set at $100/hr and can be broken into 30 minute intervals.

My studio is about our experience together and I have made a few changes. I have moved to a different suite inside of the same building. I am now in suite 9, and have a very large south facing window. My studio is filled with air filtering plants and I have invested in a HEPA air filtration system.

As always, masks are mandatory, regardless of vaccine status. This will be in effect until the government changes their restrictions. While I am pro science and pro vaccine, I am also pro choice, and I will not be asking your vaccine status. Other than contact tracing, I would like to keep “covid conversations” to a minimum in the salon, because we are all living through this and talking about it does not make for a “chill, relaxing” hair appointment. Having the same covid conversation 6 times a day, is very overwhelming for me.

We want to work safely. It has officially been over 4 months since personal care services were closed in Ontario. We want to be allowed to earn a living, legally, following all guidelines and restrictions. Our industry is mostly 1:1 and we are able to maintain records for contact tracing.
