Mazz Salon realizes the importance of client saftey. Our new protocols ensure clients are physically distanced from one another. The front of our salon is normally full with 7 clients, however, right now we are only using 2. The back of the salon is also being used. Instead of having all 3 chairs open, we are only occupying 1. We look forward to seeing all your lovely faces soon!

Given the evolving COVID-19 situation, this MAZZ location will be temporarily closed.

Mazz Salon is looking for a front desk receptionist to help fill out our already amazing staff!

We are looking for a friendly, organized, energetic person who is ready to be part of a busy and upbeat team! You will be in charge of managing daily operations and making sure the salon runs smoothly.

Your tasks include:

- Being the first point of contact for our clients; answering calls and emails, greeting clients as they come in, and getting them ready for their appointments.
-Manage inventory with regular counts and organizing orders from a variety of suppliers.
-Organize stylist schedules by booking clients as per stylist and client requests.
-Maintaining the appearance of the salon; tidying as required and helping in the end of day cleaning
-Opening and closing the salon, including cash handling, daily banking reconciliation.
-Managing our social media including posting on behalf of the salon and responding to messages.

Experience and Skills:
-1-2+ years in a reception position, ideally in a salon or similar environment.
-1-2+ years in customer service.
-Knowledge or experience with Milano Spa Software or similar salon program a strong asset.
-Retail or sales experience an asset.
-Social media experience an asset.
-Fluency in English required; any other languages a bonus!
