Celebrating this holiday weekend by sharing a recipe for Korean Sauna Eggs, a delicious twist on a boiled egg (and bathhouse snack staple)🥚🥚🥚

Korean sauna egg recipe
찜질방 달걀
Also known as ‘jjimjilbang eggs,’ korean sauna eggs are a popular snack enjoyed while relaxing at a korean bathhouse. The egg white turns brown from the maillard reaction during cooking, resulting in a nutty roasted flavour and a creamy yolk texture.

Ingredients:
6 eggs, at room temperature
11/2 cups water
1tsp salt

Directions:
Place eggs on steamer rack in a pressure cooker. Dissolve salt in water and pour into pot. Cook for 2 hours at high pressure. When done, release pressure and submerge eggs into ice water for 2 minutes. Peel and enjoy!
