For this bride, I created a flawless, lightweight look using airbrush makeup perfect for weddings when you need long-lasting coverage that photographs beautifully.
Airbrush Makeup
• Pros: Gives a smooth, even finish, feels light on the skin, is transfer-resistant, and lasts all day (especially through happy tears + dancing!).
• Cons: Can feel a bit dry on very textured or dehydrated skin and requires specific prep for best results.
Traditional Makeup
• Pros: More versatile with formulas (hydrating, dewy, matte), allows layering and touch-ups easily, and works well on drier or mature skin.
• Cons: Can require more frequent touch-ups and isn’t as transfer-resistant.
Both techniques can be stunning it’s all about matching the right method to the bride’s skin type, comfort, and wedding day needs. For this gorgeous bride, airbrush gave her that timeless, camera-ready glow 🤍

Battle of the Sunscreens: My Honest Review!
I don’t wear makeup much anymore (I know — ironic for a makeup artist 😅), but skincare, especially SPF, is non-negotiable. Healthy, glowing skin starts with protection — here’s my honest take on some I’ve tried 👇
Anessa Tone-Up Gel SPF 50+ – 6/10
Brightening pink-lilac tint with tranexamic acid, but feels more like a lotion. Great for dry skin, but a bit too dewy for me.
CHANEL Le Blanc SPF 40 – 8/10
Luxury base with TXC brightening complex + gardenia extract. Lightweight, peach-tinted, and perfect for glowier no-makeup days.
La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF 60 – 9/10
My longtime fave! Mexoryl filters + thermal water, non-greasy, super glowy. I even use the tinted one instead of foundation.
Clarins UV Plus Tinted SPF 50 – 7/10
Nice texture, plant-based antioxidants, but shade range is meh. For the price, I’d stick to La Roche.
HyaLoo AquaPlus SPF 50 – 6/10
Super affordable, hyaluronic acid + ceramides, watery feel. Sadly, it stings my eyes every time so it’s a pass.
Biore UV Aqua Rich Gel SPF 50+ – 10/10
Holy grail! Hyaluronic acid, royal jelly extract, zero irritation. Watery, glowy, perfect for dry skin. Hard to find in Canada so I stock up in Asia!
Neutrogena Hydro Boost SPF 50 – 3/10
Oxybenzone-free with hyaluronic acid, but greasy finish and eye-stinging even without applying near eyes. Wouldn’t repurchase.
Everyone’s skin is different — test a few, trust your skin, and find your fave!
