Olde Hudson EVERYTHING tastes good here, I dream about their lemon bar and their store feels like you're walking in an open market in Europe.

Saint Florian LOTS of plate envy at this place. I really want to try their steak!

The Maker Did you even go to Hudson if you don't hit up The Maker? I've been going consistently for 5 years, trip doesn't feel complete without spending time with their lovely staff and pastries.

Kitty’s I end every trip with their “spinning chicken” so juicy and you’ll be the envy of the train back home

Honorable mention to bookshop/stationary shop/bar. I like to spend a minimum of 2hrs a day there! Amazing stickers too!

I burst into TEARS.
My Mom bought me “Jane” every month with a snack and I’d sit up in my room in the burbs of Mississauga to-boot and study every word and photograph.
Jane Pratt and her work radicalized me, healed me, and made me razor-sharp.
She crafted my “outlier, undone, & quirky” aesthetic and though I've evolved in many ways, I will always be the girl eating licorice under the covers, listening to a mix of emo classics-dreaming about living in NY and finding women who get me.

Still feeling feelings about Jazzfest Hudson Hall! The music was grounding and deliberate-very much needed. I sat and steeped myself in the talent and exuberance of artists who still want to create art in this climate.

The night started with the poofiest dress from Batsheva 💙
A quick and delicious bite from Saint Florian. I can’t wait to go back in a few weeks!
Then my beloved Vuyo Sotashe took the stage and it was ethereal. Toni Morrison would write pages about his “light” if they crossed paths. He also hugs with his heart!
Hoping to catch him in concert again soon!

I don’t get excited very often but seeing AERIN LAUDER vibing in BK Heights today reminded me of my days pouring over Vogue magazine and circling pictures of her, Giovanna Battaglia and Emmanuelle Alt.

Loved seeing how effortlessly calm she was because it was LIT!
