Inspo vs Result

What she loved about the inspiration:

•Bronze, radiant, glowing skin
•Sculpted contouring
•Warm, softly blended tones with shimmer on the eyes

What we adjusted for her:
•Rosy-pink lip combo, closer to her natural lip tone
•Medium coverage to keep skin looking like skin (her complexion is already flawless)
•Soft matte through the T-zone for balance and longevity (taking into consideration how that the makeup will be more glowy and lived in the longer she wears it)

Inspiration images are a powerful tool for understanding a client’s vision, preferences, and overall direction. At the same time, the final look is always adapted to suit them — their skin, features, and what makes them look like their best self.

What I find even more valuable is seeing how a client already wears makeup in real life. That tells me so much more about their preferences on their own face, not someone else’s.

Because at the end of the day, great makeup isn’t about recreating a photo. It’s about translating it in a way that actually suits the person sitting in my chair.
