Say goodbye to pain and hello to enhanced mobility with massage therapy!

Many people associate work-related injuries with more physically demanding jobs, but work-related injuries can be a big burden for office workers. This article outlines four ways that RMTs can help office workers with work-related injuries.

I love working on rainy days 😌 🌧 ☔️

A moment that balanced my day.

Reading a short story collection by local author Dayle Furlong, drinking my favorite drip from Junction Grill and getting a hug from my super affectionate cat 😻 ☕️ 📖

I hope that you had a moment of balance too. And yes, I'm a mom, and my kids were playing video games beside me.

HEADACHE RELIEF 🤯
Anyone else a wee bit thrown off from this time change 🥴
Me too 🥱
Swipe through for all my favs to relax the muscles around the head and face and learn a couple more tools to destress, increase fluid movement, increase oxygen to the brain and hopefully... feel better 😉

Truth?
I hate taking meds unless necessary.
So, I do whatever I can within my body to shift what I feel.
And guess what… majority of the time, it works! ☺️

If you find it works for you too, please SHARE it with those who you know can benefit! 💕

Why the facial nerve?
As my smarty friend @yogatuneup has said who owns these wonderful @tuneupfitness balls I’m using in this video (will share the link in my stories!!), it shares the source nucleii with the lovely vagus nerve.
The nerve that allows us to activate and turn on that parasympathetic system to truly get us back in a rest, relax, digest state 🙏

So, don’t go digging.
There’s nothing to break up.
Be gentle with the face, but feel the goodness as you SLOWLY move with the ball.

Also, go slow on those upper traps and suboccipital areas.
Again, we’re NOT breaking up any tissue.
We’re RELAXING tissue, getting fluids temporarily moving, and relieving those symptoms of pain leading to the head.

Oh and the humming?
Please don’t judge my wonderful singing voice 😜
This increases the release of Nitric Oxide.
Which then increases the width of your blood vessels, allowing for increased blood flow and lower blood pressure.

Lastly, the band around the ribcage?
This is a reminder to the body to breathe from the low ribcage rather than the neck (one of the reasons you could be feeling that headache 😳).
Release the diaphragm to release that oxygen flow and relieve that tension.

Finally, drink up!
Water of course.
Enjoy 💕
