This young man came into the shop for a nice clean up for the holidays. One of our barbers serviced him, gave him a nice fade, lined him up with a blade to make sure he was looking fresh and ready for the season.
After providing these services… this young person decided that he really didn’t need to pay for the service and literally ran out the door. (LOL) yes , watching the video I did chuckle a little bit.
We understand that inflation and cost of living has gone up, prices have gone up on everything. We have not increased our prices and we are below the average for prices downtown already, but this young person decided that he didn’t
Need to pay. To be honest, if he was up front and honest and said he didn’t have enough for a haircut, I would have done that for free. It wouldn’t be the first time that we have done that. But for you to request the service under the false pretences of actually paying for it.??? That’s just low.
I just hope that other barbershops see this post and his picture and if he decides to try this with any other shops, be gentle , this is not a post to seek justice or harm. It is to show that we all have compassion and understanding when it comes to others. Most of us in the service
Industry are on a commission based income and when something like this happens it takes away from our pockets, our time and our attention on other clients that deserve our focus.
