Hey Friends! I have a big favour to ask: I am among 15 people throughout North America who have been selected as a finalist in a transformation contest. The individual who gets the most votes wins $10,000! There will also be a grand prize winner who will receive $25,000 (this is already pre-determined).
You can vote once per day for me ( if you feel I’m worthy of winning of course!)
Thanks so much in advance for your support 🙏💕

“The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be.” Ralph Waldo Emerson
With the new year around the corner, who do you hope to become in 2024? What are their habits? What type of people do they surround themselves with? What do you need to let go of? What do you need to embrace?
Remember, everything we need to succeed is within us right now. All it takes is a decision, commitment and a burning desire to change ✨

Not sure what’s more difficult: building muscle or losing muscle? 🤷♀️ I’ve spent 12 years in the figure division and I’m making the switch to the wellness division which requires a bigger lower body in comparison to upper body (much different than the “x” factor which I have been working on for the past decade). I’m so ready for this new and exciting challenge in 2024🙌 But I will say, losing these biceps is much harder than I thought. I have not trained them in 6 months and they aren’t going anywhere 😩 I’m grateful that I build muscle easily, but I will tell you that I put in the work consistently. Unfortunately results don’t happen overnight (no matter what). It comes down to so many factors: sleep, hydration, protein, recovery, intense workouts and limiting alcohol/sugar (are just a few of the ingredients).
Follow my journey to find out if i’m actually able to lose these arms by July 2024. I’m up for the challenge and I’m confident that I will bring a wicked package to the stage (with the help of my awesome coach ) Here we go! 💪✨😉

I compete for many reasons, but this is a big one. When I first started training for shows it was all about me and accomplishing my goal or the end result. But once I started to transform I realized my true purpose on the planet was to help other women rise and become the best version of themselves.
These women showed up for me on my big day this past Spring. I remember feeling so supported and grateful 💕
It taught me a few things:
1) Surround yourself with those who build you up and are your cheerleaders in life
2) Social connections are key to fulfillment. It’s no fun if you don’t have anyone sharing in your big moments
3) These women all told me how proud they were of me. This made me realize how much impact our own actions can have on others. Be an inspiration ✨
5) Surround yourself with those who will support you. We don’t need naysayers interfering with our path to greatness 🤣
Thank you ladies — love you all 🥰

I compete for many reasons, but this is definitely one of them 💕 At first it was all about me. But once I started to transform, I realized my true calling was to help other women rise and become the best version of themselves.
I love these women. They came out to support me this past spring not because I asked them to, but because they wanted to be there. I remember how happy and supported I felt. It taught me this:
1. Your goals and achievements impact more than just you
2. Who you surround yourself matters
3. Social connections are an important part of living a healthy, balanced life
4. Sharing your life experiences with others makes it all the more worthwhile!
If you have a big goal, make sure to tell those whom you know will support you. And keep it quiet from those who won’t. We don’t need them interfering! 🤣

I totally get it! Sometimes finding 30 minutes in a day can be tricky. Don’t worry — I’ve got your back. Today I was in and out of the gym in 50 minutes…. Here are some tips:
1. Wear earphones to avoid chatting
2. Have a program that you can follow
3. Don’t wait for equipment. Choose a different exercise (and come back) or modify
4. Work in on someone’s set or ask when they will be finished
5. Time rest in between sets (move quickly).
Do what you can. “A” workout is better than “no” workout.
6. Be prepared (have gym clothes with you or ready to go).
7. Don’t go to the gym — do a workout at home. This may mean investing in some equipment. However, since Covid, most people own weights, bands, etc.
8. When you are determined, you will find a way (not a excuse!)

I still can’t believe this is me! I post this not to brag, but to show that anything is within reach. Double cardio sessions, minimal carbs and 5 workouts per week plus conditioning got me to this point. I also had a coach guiding me along the way. In fact, I have always had a coach because I believe this is necessary in any area of life in order to improve. I also believe we need the following to achieve things that may seem impossible. For myself, it was seeing my physique in its most conditioned state. At 44 years old, i’m so proud to have accomplished my goal.
Accomplishing a big goal:
1) Belief in ourselves or faith in the process
2) A burning desire to get there or a strong enough “why”. Mine has changed multiple times over the years!
3) An amazing support system: coach, spouse, friends and others who cheer you on when it gets tough
4) Resourcefulness: you may not have a lot of money but if you are resourceful, you can have anything you desire. Sometimes you need to get creative!
5) Never give-up attitude: I’ve come in last place and first place many times! But at the end of the day it is me vs. me. Recently I was told I’m in the wrong category for my physique (after 12 years of competing!) However, I won’t change the goal of winning a pro card; Instead I change the plan or strategy of obtaining it. This will be my first time I compete in the wellness category. I can’t wait! 2024 is about new beginnings and challenges…
