Spring has sprung! 😎 Are you wearing your sunscreen? 🤔 This is a great list, but missing one of my faves, an SPF 50 Sunscreen from COOLA as well.

The perfect model for a Sunday share.
Some pro advice for doing “test” and “creative” shoots...
I always try to take raw photos on my phone, every time, every look, every client. It helps me see if my lewk checks out from all angles and if the camera sees what I see!
After my iPhone approves 😅, I always make sure I check the photographer’s first test shots (once their lighting is set) so I can make sure the lighting is working with the makeup & hair I’ve created. It’s an ESSENTIAL step!
And if we’re shooting a look where I’ve done something that I really want showcased, I always tell the photographer my vision too- like the look is skin focused, or the glossy eyelid should be honed in on, or that the hair is the major element, etc.
When doing test shoots & portfolio building work, communication between the photographer, hair & makeup artist, the stylist & model is KEY so that everyone on the shoot gets what they need for their portfolio. If you work with a team of people who are bringing you in to execute “their vision” and not a team effort, well that’s not a creative collaboration so you should be paid for your time & energy doing “work” rather than creating collective magic ✨
