A C-section is major abdominal surgery, and most people are told to just rest and let it heal on its own.
Sheila offers massage work specifically for C-section recovery, supporting the scar tissue and surrounding fascia as your body heals.
This isn't just relaxation, it's hands on support for tissue that's been through surgery and needs help moving well again.
If you're weeks or months postpartum and still feel tightness, numbness, or tension around your scar, that's worth addressing, not just living with.

One leg looks shorter than the other, or your baby's hip seems to click or shift when you change their diaper.
Hip dysplasia means the hip socket didn't form deep enough to hold the joint securely. A doctor confirms this through a physical exam, ultrasound, or X-ray, not something we diagnose here.
Once it's confirmed, occupational and physical therapy become essential to keeping your baby on track for rolling, sitting, and crawling.
Swipe through for what that support actually looks like.
If your baby has been diagnosed, we can help alongside their treatment plan.

Engorged, red, and in pain, and you're not sure if it's a clogged duct or something more.
Sheila offers lymphatic drainage massage that supports the body's ability to move fluid and ease that heaviness and pressure in breast tissue. It's a hands on, healthcare based approach, not a spa treatment.
If you also have a fever or feel unwell, please see your doctor too. We work alongside your medical care, not instead of it.
Same week appointments are available. Call the clinic directly.

Your baby gags on solids but not on the bottle.
This usually isn't about the food itself. It often points to how the tongue and jaw are managing a new texture, movement, and pressure that bottle feeding never asked of them.
Some gagging is a normal part of learning to eat. Persistent gagging is worth a closer look, not a sign you introduced solids wrong.
Andrea works specifically with feeding and oral motor patterns like this one.
If this is your week at the table, we can help.

Your baby clicks while nursing, pulls off mid-feed, or arches away from the breast or bottle like something just doesn’t feel right.
Sara is also a Registered Massage Therapist who works with babies experiencing tension that may be making feeding harder than it needs to be.
Releasing that tension may help support an easier latch, calmer feeds, and less discomfort for you.
This is separate from a lactation consultation—it’s massage therapy focused on helping make feeding more comfortable and easier for your baby.

The milk your baby spits up can tell you two different things.
Fresh spit-up looks the same coming up as it did going down.
Curdled spit-up has been sitting in the stomach long enough to start digesting first.
Both can point to how efficiently digestion is moving, and both are worth paying attention to, not panicking over.
Swipe through to see what each one usually means, and what our practitioners look for when parents describe this at intake.
Save this for the next 3am spit-up moment you're trying to make sense of.

Crawling with one leg dragging isn't laziness. It's the body working around something.
When a baby favors one side while crawling, it's often a sign of tension or asymmetry somewhere in the hips, core, or spine. The body finds a way to move anyway, and that's actually pretty impressive.
Left alone, this pattern can become how the body learns to move long term.
Swipe through for what we look for, and why catching this now is easier than untraining it later.
Save this if it sounds like your baby.

Why does your baby only nurse well on one side?
It's rarely about milk flow or ni**le shape. More often, turning toward one breast is comfortable, and turning toward the other pulls on tension already sitting in the neck.
Babies can't tell us this in words, so they show us a side they avoid.
When that tension releases, feeding often gets easier on both sides, not just one.
If this sounds like your baby, drop a comment. We'll tell you what we'd look for at an assessment.

Your toddler walks on their toes, and everyone keeps telling you it's just a phase.
Sometimes it is. But persistent toe-walking can also point to tension through the nervous system, patterns that started well before your child ever took a step.
It's not about correcting how they walk. It's about understanding why the body chose this path in the first place, and resolving it.
If your toddler toe-walks, it's worth a closer look, not more waiting.

We hear it all the time—but recurring headaches shouldn't automatically be dismissed as "normal."
While sleep deprivation, hormonal changes, and the demands of caring for a newborn can all contribute, headaches that consistently appear in the same spot often point to a physical cause.
One of the most common patterns we see postpartum is tension at the base of the skull. Long hours spent feeding, holding, and looking down at your baby can overload the muscles at the back of the neck, referring pain into the head.
If your headaches keep returning, it's worth having them assessed rather than simply pushing through.
