Understanding your lash adhesive is one of the biggest keys to better retention. 🤍
Humidity, temperature, glue speed, and storage all affect how your adhesive performs during a lash set. Even the best technique can struggle in the wrong environment.

A small guide from my lash manual for artists who want cleaner attachment, stronger retention, and more consistency in their work. ✨

Common mistakes that make lash sets look sticky, clumpy & rough ↓

• placing extensions too close together
• poor isolation = lashes sticking at the base
• attachment too wide instead of clean + narrow
• too much glue on the base
• incorrect direction at the outer corner
• forcing every lash at the same angle

Outer corner tip ✧
As you move outward, lower the placement angle gradually and follow the natural eye flow — this helps prevent crossing, twisting & heavy-looking ends.

A clean lash set is all about isolation, direction & balance, not just fullness.

Correct lash direction isn’t the same across the whole eye.

Middle of the eye → 90°
Moving outward → 85°
Near the tail → around 70°

Follow the lash flow and gradually lower the angle for a cleaner shape and better direction.

Not every lash works with pinch fan technique.

For colored lashes and holiday sets, pickup control matters more than squeezing the fan.
Cleaner base, better color definition, prettier spikes ✨

Stop Fanning Your Spikes | LB Curl Technique | Clean Wispy Technique
LB spikes should NOT be fanned or pinched.
In this tutorial, I show how to create a true spike using pickup technique only.

Key steps:
✔️ Pick up directly from the strip
✔️ Grip from the middle of the lashes for control
✔️ Apply slight tension to keep the base tight
✔️ No opening, no splitting
