Product SPOTLIGHT: The OOOOH™ Family

A simple idea, executed precisely. A distinctive louver system sets OOOOH apart from conventional linear and curved lighting. An array of ellipses, shaped to form a tunnel-like louver, tempers the starkness of a standard diffuser to minimize glare and offer exceptional visual comfort. Offered in five finishes: Black, White, Satin Chrome, Satin Gold, and Satin Champagne. What started as a linear concept has grown into a family of nine. The same louver language now spans:

Linear (Suspended, Ceiling, Wall, Recessed)
Geometric (Quad, Systems)
Ring (Suspended, Ceiling)
Kurl (Suspended)

Nothing quite like seeing your own product overhead.

We just hung two BEND-IT fixtures at the Beta-Calco office, the same flexible linear system that anchored our LEDucation 2026 booth and earned the Illuminating Engineering Society Innovation Award at The MEET Show in Moncton last month.

What makes BEND-IT a favorite around here: a flexible silicone joiner that lets a single run flow from straight lines into curves, loops, even closed geometric shapes: triangles, squares, hexagons, whatever the ceiling calls for.

Up to a combined 1800 LM/FT, tunable white, and straight section lengths from 2' to 50' in Satin Black with curved endcaps.

A panel of judges have selected the Betacalco Bend-It™ as the winner of this year's Illuminating Engineering Society Innovation Award!

Bend-It™ is a highly adaptable lighting system built around a flexible joiner that bends up to 360 degrees in any horizontal direction, enabling smooth transitions and continuous, flowing layouts. This flexibility allows the fixture to respond naturally to architectural conditions, supporting expressive runs and organic compositions without breaking visual continuity. Bend-It™ can also be configured into closed-loop shapes to create geometric layouts in a wide range of sizes. Each mounting point can be adjusted for further flexibility and to respond intuitively to difficult site conditions.

Composed of lit sectional lengths from 2’ to 50’ on a single driver, the system supports a wide range of configurations while maintaining a consistent dimensional profile with curved end caps to complete the run with a smooth, integrated finish. BEND-IT has a wide range of configurations including direct and indirect lumen packages, CCTs and open-standard control systems to align with project requirements. BEND-IT boasts lumen efficacy up to 94 LPW, enabling uniform lighting while lowering energy demand.

Some spaces ask for a centerpiece. This one earned two.

When the Guelph YMCA needed a lighting centerpiece worthy of its community, the answer wasn't subtle. Two large-diameter suspended Ring fixtures now command the main reception area, drawing the eye upward while delivering warm, consistent illumination across a busy public space.
