Introducing BELLOWS™
BELLOWS reworks the standard linear system into a pleated, sculptural form, introducing rhythm, depth, and character to the ceiling plane. Inspired by the ridged profile of fireplace bellows, this 2.5" aperture luminaire pairs an expressive ceiling profile with high-efficacy performance.
• Pleated Profile Aesthetic: A distinctive, textured form that adds architectural depth and a refined, tactile design language to modern classrooms, offices, and professional zones.
• Precision Light Distributions: Supports a broad range of applications with Diffused, Widespread 120° Batwing, 160° Extra-Wide Batwing, and Asymmetric optics, delivering up to 153 LPW of energy-efficient light.
• Comprehensive Finish Library: Available in 13 finishes, including Wood Grains and Metallic textures, to suit a wide range of interior palettes.
Holistic Circadian Support: Features BIOS technology integration to dynamically adjust the light spectrum, replicating natural daylight patterns to support occupant health and cognitive function.
BELLOWS brings technical precision to an expressive architectural luminaire.

Product SPOTLIGHT: STARBURST™
Most pendants hold one shape. Starburst opens into the one your space needs.
Designed by Jacob Antoni, Starburst is a kinetic radial-burst pendant offered in three versions, each opening into a single geometric form: the QUAD into a four-sided shape, the RD into a circle, and the TRI into a triangle. Every version reads as a compact star at rest, then its interlacing brackets manually expand into the shape you specify. One shape per pendant, so you choose the form your space calls for.
As a single pendant it hangs as an illuminated art piece. Multiplied and layered, the pieces create a celestial effect across a ceiling. Suspended over a board room, a lobby, or a reception area, it gives modern spaces a strong architectural presence, equal parts statement piece and working luminaire.
Available in 13 finishes, including three wood grains, at CRI 90+.

Project SPOTLIGHT: SQUIGGLE™
Our Squiggle luminaire is featured on America ByDesign, airing on CBS .
Squiggle is our continuous-run system of curves, straights, and joiners that follows the architecture and becomes part of a building's character. This segment shows it at the Salt Lake Community College Juniper Academic Building, a LEED Gold project by AJC Architects for the University of Utah and SLCC partnership.

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT:
Shahzeb Siddiqui, Engineering Team Lead
Good lighting starts long before it reaches a ceiling. It starts with the people who turn concepts into real products. To open our Meet the Team series, meet Shahzeb Siddiqui, our Engineering Team Lead and the engineer behind our latest product, Bend-It.
✎ How long have you been with Beta-Calco, and how did you get here?
I've been with Beta-Calco for 8 years. After completing my studies in Mechanical Engineering, I joined as a Design Engineer and have continued to grow both technically and professionally throughout my career here.
✎ What does a typical week look like as Engineering Team Lead?
My role is about supporting both our customers and the engineering team through technical and operational work. I create quotation drawings, Bills of Materials, and SOPs, and I guide and mentor engineers on CAD design and documentation. I also focus on improving efficiency through workflow optimization while managing product configurations and the technical specification pages on our website.
✎ Walk us through a recent lighting challenge and how you solved it.
A recent challenge was designing a flexible joint for our linear product line that could rotate at various angles while staying durable and preventing light leaks. I developed an overmolded silicone and cast aluminum design that kept the flexibility while creating a secure, tight connection.
✎ What's your favorite part of working at Beta-Calco?
I enjoy turning concepts into real products and solving design challenges that improve manufacturability, assembly, and overall product quality. I also like finding ways to streamline and automate engineering processes to help the whole team work more efficiently.

Product SPOTLIGHT: BOGGLE™
Comfort you can measure.
Glare is one of the most overlooked parts of lighting quality. Too much of it leads to eye strain, headaches, and lost concentration, especially during screen work and other visually demanding tasks. The industry measures it with the Unified Glare Rating (UGR), a CIE metric where lower numbers mean greater visual comfort. The scale runs from about 10, imperceptible glare, up to 31, intolerable.
Boggle is built for the low end of that scale. With the right configuration, it is one of the few luminaires able to reach a UGR below 10. A precision louver manages brightness at the source, making it well suited to the spaces with the strictest comfort targets.
Specify it three ways to fit the ceiling: Suspended, Ceiling, and Recessed. Pair it with Tunable White to match the light to the hour and the task.
Form and function, working together by design.

Product SPOTLIGHT: The OOOOH™ Family
A simple idea, executed precisely. A distinctive louver system sets OOOOH apart from conventional linear and curved lighting. An array of ellipses, shaped to form a tunnel-like louver, tempers the starkness of a standard diffuser to minimize glare and offer exceptional visual comfort. Offered in five finishes: Black, White, Satin Chrome, Satin Gold, and Satin Champagne. What started as a linear concept has grown into a family of nine. The same louver language now spans:
Linear (Suspended, Ceiling, Wall, Recessed)
Geometric (Quad, Systems)
Ring (Suspended, Ceiling)
Kurl (Suspended)
One design vocabulary, the flexibility to specify it for open plan offices, classrooms, corridors, board rooms, and the modern spaces in between. A comprehensive lighting family designed to turn functional light into a luxurious architectural feature.

Nothing quite like seeing your own product overhead.
We just hung two BEND-IT fixtures at the Beta-Calco office, the same flexible linear system that anchored our LEDucation 2026 booth and earned the Illuminating Engineering Society Innovation Award at The MEET Show in Moncton last month.
What makes BEND-IT a favorite around here: a flexible silicone joiner that lets a single run flow from straight lines into curves, loops, even closed geometric shapes: triangles, squares, hexagons, whatever the ceiling calls for.
Up to a combined 1800 LM/FT, tunable white, and straight section lengths from 2' to 50' in Satin Black with curved endcaps.
Designing lighting we'd want to live under is the whole point. Now we actually do.
