I know some of you may not have seen the story I posted about Natalie, so I wanted to take a moment to introduce her to you 🤗

Natalie has 23 years of experience as a salon stylist and colour technician. She currently shares her art and creativity as a Hair Department Head for the Film and TV industry, with such credits as Grand Army (Netflix), SexLife Season 1 and 2 (Netflix), The Expanse Season 6 (Amazon Prime), Painkiller (Netflix) and The Changeling (Apple TV). Due to the ongoing writers and actors strike, she has gracefully decided to return to her salon roots and will join us for the Fall/Winter Season as a Guest Artist. A $20 credit will be applied to your first booking with her.

Natalie is incredibly talented and I am so excited to be working along side her on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Right now my schedule is very full so I am hoping Natalie can assist those of you who are still looking for an appointment but struggling to find one. It doesn’t matter if you have seen Daniel or myself before - Natalie is happy to service everyone. You can book with her through the regular booking system and I am so looking forward to seeing you all in the studio. *please note that Natalie only colours and styles and does not cut hair*

Hey Everyone!

With spring finally here , a season of growth and change, we’d like to send out an update about Sand and Case Hair.

As some of you may have guessed, I (Daniel) will be leaving the studio this coming June (last day being June 3rd). It has been very bittersweet. I have had the ultimate pleasure of connecting with everyone over the years (some of you since 2014!). I’ve seen some of you go through the most challenging and joyous of times, and I am truly grateful for the shared experience. You have seen me grow as well, from a 20-something kid, to a fund raising drag queen cyclist (for those that remember), through breakups, to entrepreneurship, navigating Covid lockdowns, and all the stories in between. My next chapter will be starting a new life in the U.K. with my husband.

Honestly, we’ve had some great chats and amazing times, I am ever so thankful to all my clients who have made my career this wonderful. Leslieville & the east end community will always hold a special place in my heart.

Going forward Alexis will continue to own and operate the studio. As you know, she is quite busy and cannot absorb my entire clientele. Priority will be given to her current clients, and she will be taking on new clients on a case by case basis and working some extra hours to accommodate.

Not much changes for us (yet). But stay tuned in case things do.

Low maintenance hair takes time (approximately 4 1/2 hours in the chair 😅)
But it’s worth it when your result looks like this and you’re left with the softest grow out.
We did a balayage with lowlights to add dimension as well as a root smudge (a toner on the root area to diffuse the blonde). And Alison is looking like a dream! 🥰

Hey! It’s been a hot minute since we’ve posted… but we’ve been busy working 😅 and we love catching up with everyone in the studio!

A balayage is a great service for low maintenance, soft grow out, beautiful hair 🥰 and it doesn’t hurt that Amy has great hair to work with.
