My patient wanted a stronger, more balanced profile, without changing how her face looked from the front.
Using filler to augment the chin, I was able to improve facial balance from the side while keeping her front-view appearance the same. This is a great example of how subtle, targeted treatment can enhance proportion and definition without changing someoneās overall look.

Thereās been a lot of talk recently about Masseter Botox and how it may affect your smile.
Masseter Botox is a very effective treatment that helps patients who suffer from jaw pain and clenching. For many, it is the only treatment that has ever helped to alleviate their pain and improve their quality of life.
A temporary change in your smile is an uncommon but possible side effect, which is why careful assessment and treatment planning are so important, with thorough discussion of the risks and benefits.
The good news is that this side effect is temporary, and your smile will return to baseline within a few weeks to months. And in my practice, I do not see this side effect frequently although I discuss it with every single patient who has Masseter Botox.
