When this client first came to us, she shared something that stayed with me: because of the appearance of the scars on her feet, she didn’t feel comfortable wearing sandals and had avoided going to a salon or spa for a pedicure.

This is her result after just one session of camouflage tattooing. As you can see, the white areas are already significantly more blended with her natural skin tone.

Her treatment is still in progress, and we’ve now completed her second session. There’s still more healing and blending to come.

For me, this work is about more than covering a scar. It’s about helping someone feel comfortable wearing sandals again, booking that pedicure, and enjoying the little things they’ve been avoiding. 🤍

Paramedical Scar Camouflage | Bonito Beauty Bar 🤍

We performed camouflage tattooing with customized color correction for this lovely client. This is the healed result after just one session, with many of the visible hyperpigmented marks already significantly blended into the surrounding skin. Treatment is still ongoing. ✨

Achieving this level of coverage depends on several factors, including the type and color of the hyperpigmentation, skin tone, healing response, and the condition of the skin.

At Bonito Beauty Bar, maximum coverage isn’t our first priority. A natural-looking result is. Our goal is to gradually blend the treated areas with the surrounding skin using the right techniques, customized pigment selection, proper care, and, when appropriate, a combination of treatments.

Birthmark Camouflage | Treatment in Progress ✨

This video shows the healed result after 2 sessions of paramedical tattoo.

At the time this video was recorded, the client’s skin was tanned, which can increase the contrast because hypopigmented areas may not tan the same way as the surrounding skin. Even with the increased contrast, we can already see a noticeable improvement in the overall blending and appearance of the birthmark.

During this appointment, we proceeded with her 3rd camouflage session. Now we’ll allow the skin to fully heal and reassess. We may be able to share her final healed result at the next follow-up. 🤍
