Keep in mind that mental health support is not one size fits allโ€”just because these were the experiences of these students does not necessarily mean that this is the kind of experience you or another student would have.

Despite how common it is to struggle with mental health, it can be difficult to share those stories without fear of stigma or judgement. We want to create an online space where you can tell us your mental health stories, and where others can recognize the validity of these experiences, and the resiliency of those struggling with their mental health. We invite you to both share your own mental health stories, and show you care by giving words of advice and encouragement for others who may be struggling. You can use the form to send us your submissions below, and they will be published completely anonymously!

Today, let's think about mental health. We've all seen the statistics: we know how common it is to struggle with mental health, and this especially applies to those aged 15-24. Unfortunately, having open conversations about those struggles is not as common.

No one should suffer in silence. We need to have conversations with those in our lives about mental health, and not let shame or stigma win. Let's join the conversation.

This year has been an especially trying one for many people's mental health, and we have all had to show a great deal of resiliency to take care of our wellbeing throughout the pandemic.
