Good Afternoon All !

I have been thinking of the properties of Cinnamon. I know internally it has many positive effects such as helping regulate blood sugar and inducing warmth within the body and helping with colds. Its all very interesting.

However not much can be said for external use. I have this odd feeling that it would be very helpful. I have decided to try it out and see what happens! It is antibacterial and anti-inflammatory so in theory it should be brilliant!

Hello! Well it has been quite a while, so I suppose I should Share a few tips,

For those days that you wake up and can feel your cold coming on, try some tea with thyme, sage and ginger. These herbs will sooth and if taken properly, arrest the cold all together.

Many people like doing Detox these days. Its a basic week of drinking and eating just some veggies ( usually fresh). This week helps all your systems reboot and clear out. To use as your main Herbal infusion for the week, add some Dandelion leaf and Psyllium which helps get rid of many accumulated toxins.

For those days that require more mental work then you care to admit, try having some Rosemary water with you! the smell is invigorating. The Greeks used it as a memory tonic to reduce anxiety and encourage the mind to calm as well as increase alertness.

Yes that yellow w**d you see every spring has MANY properties. From Digestion, liver tonics to Detox and Female Hormone balance.

Valerian:

This stuff smells! but it is the best sleep tea you can get. mix it with some other calming herbs, and you have a cure for insomnia! if you add a hell of a lot of sugar!

Not just for cats!!! though it makes them go a little nuts, in humans its a mild sedative. Good for those stressful days!
