I used to be soooo shy to post. I still kind of am 🙈

What will people think? Is my content good enough? What should I post?

But the data shows that on average, a person needs to see an offer 7 TIMES before they take an action.

Considering most people spend less than 3 seconds looking at a post on instagram before scrolling past it, you need to be posting consistent messaging, strategically.

But that doesn’t mean you need to be spending hours posting.

You need a content plan.

By “front loading” the work you can plan out multiple posts for a length of time using a systematic method along with content pillars and tools like Canva, ChatGPT, and many more.

Then you spend time learning. The more you post, the more you analyze, the more you learn from other accounts, the better you’ll get.

A couple of my favourite accounts that teach social media marketing specifically on Instagram are:

Give each of them a follow and learn tips from them daily, or take their courses and workshops.

Their energy and knowledge will help build your confidence to post quality content, consistently!

Before you get the this promotional stage though, it’s equally important to set your foundation as a beauty entrepreneur so you’re selling what your target audience finds valuable: your services, your pricing, your brand — and that’s what I can teach you with confidence.

So I hope you’ll give me a follow too 😉

Hands down the most fun I had when I first started as a solo esthetician was setting up my home based space.

But I’m not going to lie, knowing what was a need vs. want, wasn’t as clear cut.

I found myself splurging on unnecessary things out of excitement.

But just like real estate agents will tell you that your first home shouldn’t be your dream home, your first spa set up shouldn’t be your dream spa either.

Why?

Because you need to live it practically for a while to truly understand what has true value for you and your clients.

Purchase the basics now to get you through year 1 and then upgrade when you need to replace something.

Depending on when you start your business, youre probably looking at regular price for everything. So being a little frugal at the beginning will allow you to take advantage of big sales throughout the year like Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Creating content on instagram has got to be one of the most stressful parts of running your solo business. Am I right?!

Most of the time, you resort to ‘post and pray’… which is one of the worst things you can do because there’s zero strategy and you end up wasting valuable time.

There is a way to map out your content so that:

- ideas on ‘what to post’ flow naturally
- you stay strategic with your goals
- you post content that will resonate with your target audience
- you post content regularly…

Because the algorithm LOVES that.

It’s called a ✨Content Plan✨

Content planning should be as much a part of your business as bookkeeping and any other task.

I cover this and MORE in my course, Setting up your Solo Business Bootcamp. Launching soon 🚀

Follow me for drop dates and more helpful tips 🤍

You got this 🫶🏽

Get to know me through a day in my life… a 🧵

No pics of my family (because social media), but my three kids and hubby are the centre of my world.

This particular night my husband probably cooks and I’ll take some time to relax because I’m in my slow-paced era ✨

Life is full and blessed. But it took me 44 years to get here.

10 years ago, I never saw this coming.

And that’s the beauty of it all, really 🤍

I can’t wait to grow this space and meet fellow solo estheticians— no matter what stage you’re at ✨
