Chapters.
Eleven years of marriage. Decades of friendship. Visiting the world with people who show up without being asked.
Moments like this are a mirror. Reflecting life lived through intention.
Entrepreneurs talk a lot about the hustle. We don’t talk enough about the surrender. About what happens when you finally stop long enough to feel the softness of the ground beneath our bare-feet. To rest without guilt. To let healing be the whole agenda.
I came back with new ideas, a full heart, and a clearer sense of what this next chapter is for.

Six weeks before the Bahamas 🏝️, I sat in my own treatment chair.
My Treatment Stack-
Microneedling with exosomes for tissue remodeling.
AFA for barrier-intelligent exfoliation.
HydraFacial with a custom skin booster to seal everything in.
Timing is everything. These treatments need adequate healing time before sun exposure. And non-negotiable regardless of what you’ve had done…SPF, every single day.
This is what planned skin looks like.

A facial is a 28-day skin cycle. Not a 60-minute appointment. Here’s what actually happens to your skin after a professional facial treatment in Toronto. 🤭
every skin specialist has been asked one time or another: “I broke out after my treatment- did it make my skin worse?”
The answer is No. That’s your skin doing exactly what it’s supposed to do. It’s called purging and it means the treatment worked.
Most people judge their facial at day 4. But the real result doesn’t show up until day 14-28, after a full cell turnover cycle.
Swipe through to see what happens day by day, why prebooking every 4-6 weeks matters, and what NOT to do between appointments.

Pour into yourself first!
This is your reminder that you don’t owe anyone an explanation for choosing yourself. Not for the boundaries you set. Not for the glow up. Not for outgrowing rooms you used to fit in.
You’re doing your thing right now. And the people who matter? They already see it.
Now go high five yourself in the mirror boo, you’ve earned it.

The real reason your skin isn’t changing?
You’re treating symptoms. Not the system.
Here’s what I see every single week in my chair:
Wrinkle appears → Botox. Dark spot → laser. Breakout → spot treat.
And yeah, those things work. Temporarily. But if the system underneath is still broken? It’s coming back.
Your skin doesn’t age from one thing. It ages from everything:
→ Barrier breakdown (hello sensitivity, moisture loss, and reactive skin)
→ Chronic inflammation (this one quietly accelerates EVERY sign of aging)
→ Cellular energy decline (slower repair, dull tone, tired-looking skin)
→ Collagen degradation (loss of bounce and structure -the thing everyone’s chasing)
→ Oxidative stress (environmental damage you can’t see until you can)
→ Melanin dysregulation (uneven tone, dark spots that keep returning)
When you fix one and ignore the rest? That’s not transformation. That’s a band-aid.
This is why I don’t just hand you a product and send you home. I assess the entire system: your barrier health, inflammation levels, cellular function and build a protocol that works WITH your skin. Not against it.
Not one hero product. Not one miracle treatment.
A skin longevity framework.
Because your skin is a living, adaptive system. And after 10+ years in this chair, I can tell you it deserves to be treated like one.
If you’ve been doing “all the right things” and STILL not seeing change, this is probably why.
Your routine isn’t broken. Your approach is.
Comment “PROTOCOL” and let’s build yours 👏🏽

20 years in this industry taught me things no course ever could.
These aren’t tips. They’re lessons I had to learn the hard way. Some cost me money. Some cost me time. All of them changed how I practice.
The aestheticians who are thriving right now aren’t the ones with the most certifications or the newest device. They’re the ones who understood that this career is about strategy, consistency, and playing the long game.
If even one of these makes you rethink how you’re running your business or treating your clients, it was worth posting.
Save this. Share it with an aesthetician who needs to hear it.

Hydra-Cool Serum by iS Clinical is the only thing that survives a long haul flight with my skin intact. It is technically a treatment moisturizer-25% botanically derived hyaluronic acid, super antioxidants, and that signature cooling feel that does exactly what dehydrated, irritated travel skin needs.
Good skincare does not take travel days off. Neither do I.
