We are so deeply saddened to announce the passing of Xuan Cao 'Robert' Lien. Robert passed away peacefully at home on January 8, 2022, due to health complications.

We realize this may come as a shock, but it was necessary to inform you all as we know you are family to Robert. He was such an incredible person with a larger than life personality, he was funny, a great listener, a great talker, always positive and happy, and everyone loved him. So many of you have been coming to Robert for many years, and consider him to be a true friend. This is something he valued greatly. We know the deep connections he made with countless guests, as his clientele were very loyal. People would come from near and far, even if they moved out of town, for a 'Robert cut'. And who could forget his trademark, "Come back in about 10-15 minutes..." even though he had 5 guests lined up ahead of you. Only Robert. ☺️

An update from House of Robert:

While we are not currently open, we are excited to re-open and see all of our loyal clients as soon as the Government of Ontario makes the official announcement.

We hope you have all been safe and healthy. The safety of our clients is our number one priority which is why we've taken the following enhanced measures in order to protect our clients once re-opened:

1 - We kindly ask that you wear a mask during your visit - if you do not have your own, we well provide you with one. Hand sanitizer will also be provided upon your arrival.

2 - After each haircut, chairs, scissors and the equipments will be sanitized in preparation for the next guest.

3 - For safety, to control the number of clients in our salon, appointments are now available and preferred. We strongly encourage clients to call in and book an appointment prior - please call our main number 416-962-1818 for booking. (we will accept walk-ins, but priority will go to scheduled appointments)

4 - Lastly, due to the all the extra requirements on our part to provide a safe and sanitary environment for our guests, we have had to increase our price:

* Men's and Women's haircut: $30 and up + tax
