Little Jamaica Festival this Saturday and Sunday July 13, 14 from 12-7pm
Event Schedule and Programming:
Dates and Times: The festival will take place on July 13th and 14th. The opening ceremonies are scheduled for Saturday, July 13th, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
Road Closures: Eglinton Ave W will be closed from Marlee to Dufferin From Friday 12:00pm with the assistance of Paid Duty Police and Security
Performances: We have confirmed an exciting lineup of artists, including Tarrus Riley Showcase with local performers starting at 5pm, then openers moving to Tarrus Riley, Dean Fraser The Blak Soil band performing on Saturday night approximately at 8:30 - 9pm and Exco Levi & High Priest Band on Sunday. Leroy Gibbons will also be performing on Sunday evening at 6 PM.
Cultural Activities: The festival will feature a diverse array of cultural performances, food vendors, and children’s activities to celebrate the rich Jamaican heritage.
VIP and Dignitary Invitations:
Invitations Sent: We have extended formal invitations to several dignitaries, including Mayor Olivia Chow, Premier Doug Ford, MPP Charmaine Williams, MP Robin Martin, MP Marco Mendocino, and TTC Chair Jamal Mayers. Donavan Bailey, Her Excellency Marsha Moore Labban Their presence will underscore the importance of the event and our community.
