A peptic ulcer is an open sore that develops in the lining of the stomach or the first part of the small intestine (duodenum).
Why do peptic ulcers happen? 🩺
The main causes are:
🦠 H. pylori infection
This bacterium can damage the protective lining of the stomach and make it easier for acid to cause an ulcer.
💊 Frequent use of NSAID painkillers
Medicines such as ibuprofen, naproxen, and aspirin can weaken the stomach's protective defenses, especially with regular or high-dose use.
🧪 Excessive acid exposure
Stomach acid itself normally doesn't cause ulcers because the stomach has protective mechanisms. But when protection is weakened, acid can damage the lining.
🚬 Smoking
Smoking can interfere with ulcer healing and increase the risk of complications.

Why clouds are blue in color.
Clouds are usually white or gray, not blue. ☁️
If you see a cloud looking blue 💙, it is often because of:
🌅 Sunrise or sunset light reflecting through the atmosphere.
🌧️ Heavy rain clouds blocking sunlight, making them appear bluish-gray.
🌌 Surrounding sky color reflecting or scattering light through the cloud.
👀 Lighting and shadows can also make clouds appear blue.
Fun fact: The sky itself looks blue because air molecules scatter blue light from sunlight more strongly than most other visible colors 💙
