I used to guess so much in the beginning.
Which shield to choose.
How the lash was processing.
Why one lift worked beautifully and another felt off.
After 3,345 lash lifts and counting, this is what I know for sure.
Confidence comes from understanding what is happening at every stage.
That is why we created Everything You Were Not Taught About Lash Lifts.
For artists who want to stop guessing.

After 14 years of lash lifts, I can tell you this:
Most artists spend too much time worrying about solutions and not enough time understanding shield selection.
The right shield can completely change the outcome.
This guide teaches you how to assess eye shape, lash length, visible lid space, and apex placement so you can make more confident decisions behind the bed.
Comment GUIDE and I’ll send you the full guide.

What’s wild is that this ingredient have been banned for years…
And somehow, they still find their way back into professional products.
This is why lash artists cannot rely on packaging, trends, or “everyone is using it” as proof that something is safe or compliant.
Especially in an industry where education and regulation do not always move at the same speed.
When a new system becomes popular, we have to ask better questions.
What is inside the formula?
Is it approved where I work?
How does it affect the lash structure?
What does the grow out look like weeks later?
Being a great artist is not just about creating a beautiful result on day one.
It is about knowing enough to protect your client, your work, and your reputation.

What matters most in a lash lift?
The solution? The technique? Or the shield selection?
We believe beautiful long lasting results start with understanding the science first.
Knowing how each ingredient works with the lash structure is what allows artists to lift safely, avoid over processing, and create results that still look beautiful weeks later.
Then comes shield selection.
Then comes solution choice.
Because the true test of a lash lift is not what it looks like right after the service…
It’s what it looks like 3 weeks later.
Healthy, soft, lifted and growing out smoothly.
A good lash lift is not just curl.
It’s control, direction, lash health, and customization.

Most people only see the finished result.
What they do not see are the hours spent thinking ahead, solving problems before they happen, planning the next move while still trying to stay present in the moment.
Building something meaningful requires you to become someone new constantly. Not because it is easy, but because growth demands it from you.
There are more days spent figuring it out than feeling comfortable. More moments of pressure than praise. But that is what building a legacy looks like.
As a mother, a business owner, and a leader, you realize the work is never just about the lash sets. It is about the standards you create, the people you impact, and the example you leave behind.

Most artists think pricing comes from the service itself, but clients are responding to something much deeper than the lashes. They are responding to your flow. How your studio feels, how your setup moves, how supported you feel while working, and how seamless the appointment feels from beginning to end. Your internal workflow becomes their external experience.
This is why two artists can offer the same service at completely different price points. Pricing is emotional before it is logical. A $2.50 pastry and a $22 pastry can technically be the same thing, but the experience around it changes the value people attach to it. The same applies to your business.
The cotton pads you use, the disposables you choose, the tools in your hands, the atmosphere you create, and the details your client may never consciously notice all build the feeling of your brand. When the feeling elevates, your pricing feels natural instead of questioned.
This is not about spending recklessly. It is about understanding that premium businesses are built through intentional experiences, not constant corner cutting. Save this for your studio mindset shift.

Running around like a chicken with its head cut off?!? Oh trust me, it has been a skilled mindset for years, especially being a mom of 5.
Mom guilt. Business guilt. Kids first or business first? When is there time for me?
I crashed. I burned out many times. And now I realize, it does not actually serve anyone.
You know the rule on the plane, put your own oxygen mask on first so you can save others. This applies when you are building a forever.
Healing is productive. Rest is productive. And the healthiest version of you will always create the healthiest life, business, and future.
You are allowed to stop. You are allowed to breathe. You are allowed to take care of yourself too.
From day one, my biggest concern with adhesive was always this: how do I make sure artists are receiving the freshest product possible from me to you?
Lash adhesive is an active product. The formula is constantly affected by heat, humidity, air, and temperature changes, even while sitting in storage or during shipping. That’s why packaging matters so much more than people realize.
Cyanoacrylate adhesives naturally change over time, and environmental exposure can affect the stability, consistency, curing behavior, shelf life, and overall performance of the adhesive before it’s even opened.
That’s exactly why we chose aluminum sachet packaging.
It helps protect the adhesive from humidity, oxygen, and temperature fluctuations during warehouse storage and transit. We even store our adhesives in a fridge because preserving the formula properly has always mattered more to me than making the packaging look “pretty.”
Of course I could have placed it in a beautiful aesthetic box, but product quality will always come first for me.
Because when it comes to professional adhesive, protection of the formula matters more than presentation 👀
Stay With It.
One of the hardest parts of building a business is what happens after the breakthrough moment. You learn something new, you get inspired, you start implementing new systems, new habits, new ways of thinking, and when it doesn’t instantly change everything, doubt starts creeping in.
You start thinking maybe it’s not working. Maybe you’re not doing it right. Maybe you should go back to what feels comfortable.
But that space right there, between the idea and the result, is where most people quit too early.
Growth is not always immediate. Sometimes the shift is happening before you can fully see it. The process needs repetition. The system needs time. You need time.
The artists who grow are not the ones constantly chasing the next breakthrough. They’re the ones who stay committed long enough for implementation to turn into transformation.
Small shifts repeated consistently create the biggest changes.
