The Neutralization Healing Process is REAL. You have to be especially patient because it takes a good 10-12 weeks for lips to fully heal and they are constantly changing throughout the process. Make sure to let your clients know that during this process their lips WILL APPEAR DARKER! It’s normal and part of the healing process. You can see a perfect example of this in this photo! Lips will continue to change throughout the weeks so make sure to prepare your clients. It’s also so important to manage expectations- the number of sessions needed will depend on individual healing and the desired target colour. Not everyone heals the same and not everyone is looking for the same outcome. 🤍

Lip Blush Tattoo ✨ SWELLING IS NORMAL AND WILL GO DOWN. Let me repeat 📣. Swelling is perfectly normal and each client will have a different level of swelling! Some swell very little while others, like this beauty ☝🏼, swell more. SCROLL to see how quickly the swelling came down and how perfect they look the next day. If you’re someone who is concerned about swelling, give yourself 24 hours. Typically the majority of ‘big’ swelling will go down after a couple hours and by the next day, they will be back to normal with minimal swelling.

Lip Blush Tattoo did it again! Just look at that SHAPE! I have to admit, these lips were a challenge! She has extremely sensitive skin and lips so there was more swelling and redness and slight bruising (totally normal). Swipe to see them GLOSSED 💧(using glossed by .pmu).

Please keep in mind when booking your appointment that Lip Blush is for shaping and adding subtle colour NOT to make your lips look bigger. That being said, Lip Blush will give a more full look as it is creating even symmetry and adding colour to areas that may have lost colour/volume over time. If you’re looking for a dramatic increase in volume then you will want to pair this service with Lip Filler! You cannot book Lip Blush and Lip Filler together, they will need to be done at least 8 weeks apart!
