I’m on a mission to increase walk-ins at the shop…the recent sunshine in Toronto is very motivating! Today I want to give you a SIGN to smile and tell you that the shop has just received a beautiful, fresh batch of sponges! Did you even know we have them? They are awesome—& in case you don’t know, a loofah (or luffa) sponge is a biodegradable scrubber made from the dried, fibrous interior of a Luffa aegyptiaca GOURD. When cared for properly, a loofah can last for months, and when it finally gets tired you can pop it in your compost.

I’m back in the shop helping Clare get ready to make some new batches of handmade soap & what do I see…a fresh batch of donut (doughnut!) bathbombs!🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩 (and they look better than real doughnuts!) They are not edible, but they are all natural (made with essential oils) & 100% biodegradable…any glitter in them is made of seaweed. Happy 2026, everyone 💕 Xx Shanny
