My last client before covid lockdown is also my first client after lockdown. When we started shaping and checking measurements, I mentioned that one brow is naturally higher than the other. This is common as we age and loose skin elasticity.

My philosophy in shaping brows is to keep to the natural shape as close as possible.

The reason is because your skin will continue to loose elasticity. If I shaped symmetrically, the brows will have to be thicker and continue to get thicker to stay symmetrical or have the pigment removed if it gets too thick. I don’t recommend a thicker brow for this client because her natural brows are thin from over plucking.

For this client, I went slightly higher on the brow that was lower. The result after microblading is that one brow is still higher than the other…and that’s OK because most people won’t notice.

I’ll always give my honest opinion. There have been times when I refused to microblade because I’m firm with my opinion.

I offer for anyone wanting to reduce the signs of aging. It also reduces scars and wrinkles. This is also known as where we puncture the skin with tiny needles and then let the skin heal naturally.

In the next slide, I gave myself BB glow which is adding light pigment to even out my skin tones. This is only the first session and I noticed the difference in the tone of my chin. It will take about three sessions to really notice the difference.

What a lovely gesture that a daughter made a gift certificate for her mom to get microblading done by me.

The mom had done by another provider and I noticed that the ink faded to orange making one brow looked thinner than the other.

It’s a challenge to perform work over someone else’s because the pigment will be different and you don’t know how the two would blend. Many Artists would not risk microblading if done elsewhere.

Thankfully, as certified by , I was taught how to correct colour when work was done elsewhere.
