Wondering how often to book your highlights? ✨ Here’s a typical maintenance cycle for my clients:

🤍 First appointment: Full head of highlights
🤍 3 months later: Toner refresh
🤍 At 6 months: Half head of highlights to touch up
🤍 At 9 months: Toner refresh
🤍 At 12 months: Full head of highlights

Then we repeat the cycle! Highlights every 6 months, alternating between a half and full head, with a toner refresh in between.

Today we’re adding some movement to fine, straight hair with a perm. Here’s her before, and now let’s take a look at the process and finished result.

We used larger rods, which gave her a softer, looser wave. After rinsing and neutralizing, I used a diffuser to bring out that new texture.

You can see more body and movement through the lengths, with soft waves toward the ends. A change from her straight hair, while still keeping that relaxed look.
