Face and Body Beauty Studio is located in the heart of Beaches. Facials, Threading, Lash Lift, Tinting, Brow Lamination.
It’s very common for lighter haired clients to be nervous about doing a tint because they don’t want it to look too dark. Sometimes the tint is not needed but 80% of the time it improves the lamination.
If a client is nervous, I take my lightest brow tint and apply a quick layer, only leaving it in for 15-30 seconds max per brow. The hair picks up the colour much quicker after a lamination, so you really have to be careful. From there, you can decide if you want to add a little bit more or not. I also will go back in with the tint to spot treat the patchy areas. Always show the client first to see if they would like to go darker. That way, no one leaves with scary brows and some of the gaps are filled in.
It might seem like I’m just cleansing your skin, but what I’m actually doing is looking for:
Breakouts and congestion. This tells me that you have clogged pores and most likely excessive oil.
I take note of the texture and whether it feels rough or smooth. Rough normally means it hasn’t had a proper exfoliation in a while. Or it could mean the skin barrier is compromised due to over use of products or environmental stress.
I take note of whether your skin bounces back quickly or if the skin feels a bit thin. This tells me a bit more about your elasticity and hydration level.
I can feel warmth in the skin if more sensitive. I also look for redness from the massage of the cleanser. If the skin gets flushed easily, it tells me if you have sensitive or sensitized skin.

What is the difference between tint and hybrid ? Hybrid tint definitely has better staying power, especially on the skin. It can look a bit bolder at first depending on the colour used. If it’s your first time trying a tint, ask your esthetician 💁🏻♀️ which one they recommend for you.

What exactly is Lip Blush and what does it do?
Lip Blush is a semi permanent cosmetic lip tattoo that last about 2-3 years. It’s not the same as the old school lip tattoo. It’s not meant to look like lipstick but rather to enhance the natural color, shape, and definition of your lips.
A machine is used to deposit pigment into the upper layers of the skin, much more softly than traditional tattoos.
Consultation: Procedure takes about (2–3 hours)
Healing (7–10 days) Lips may look darker at first, then fade to a softer tone
Touch-up (6–8 weeks later). This is where we refine color for longevity.
Yearly touch ups should be done to maintain or you can let it fade out on its own. Lip blush actually does fade out on its own when done correctly.
