Bruno 🐾 Bruno 🐾
Bruno spent several years in the shelters, he originally came to the Humane Society from another shelter in Quebec.
Riddled with anxiety and fear from not knowing where his safe place was… at 7-years old, on July 17th 2016, I brought him home with me.
Bruno seemed to have forgotten most of his shelter life after a couple of years together… but then had a major set back around the Christmas holidays in 2018 and the old shelter traumas came back with a vengeance.
Fortunately for Bruno, the bestest dog walkers K925EliteDogCareServices already considered Bruno to be apart of their family and they graciously agreed to take him into their family unit permanently. ❤️
They gave him a home full of life and constant care that allowed him to shed his anxieties and truly settle into himself.
We joked about him becoming a puppy over the years and almost reverse aging.
Our lil Benjamin Button 😊
Oh how he thrived on the beautiful farm grounds K925EliteDogCareServices ❤️❤️
I will forever be grateful to Jenny E Courcelle for providing Bruno with a wonderful home filled with love. 💕
I’m especially thankful for all the updates and sleepovers over the years Jenny E Courcelle Ryan Courcelle 🤍🤍🤍
He went from years of a shelter life to finding his place on an acres of farm land with a loving family and plenty of fur friends… It worked out well in the end.
He spent more years out of the shelter than in… and that makes my heart so happy. 💛
Bruno didn’t suffer in the end, he went peacefully in the arms of his favourite dude in the whole world Ryan. 🐾🤍
I’ll never forget the sweetest boy.
Love you Bean!!

Morning movement is one of the most powerful ways to support your nervous system — helping regulate cortisol, improve focus, and set the tone for a strong, productive day.

Your sleep rhythm doesn’t start at bedtime. ✨
✅ It starts in the morning.
✅ When you move your body earlier in the day — Pilates, strength training, spin, cardio, brisk walking — you ride your natural cortisol awakening response.
✅ Cortisol is meant to rise in the morning.
✅ That’s what gives you energy, focus, and mood stability.
But if you skip morning activation and stay in a low, sluggish state all day…
your stress hormones often spike at night instead.
And that’s when the wake-ups happen.
The racing thoughts.
The 3 a.m. frustration.
Intensity earlier.
Gentleness later.
In the evening, we shift into:
• Slow stretching
• Breathwork
• Gentle flow
• Meditation
• A walk after dinner
That’s how we trains the nervous system to down regulate at night.
If you’re in perimenopause and your sleep feels unpredictable, this rhythm matters more than ever.
I’m teaching this (and so much more) in my FREE online workshop:
🗓 Thursday, March 5

Let’s get your system back in rhythm.

⬆️ High intensity workouts before noon =
better energy, focus + mood. ✨
⬇️ Low intensity in the evenings = better sleep, recovery + circadian rhythm. 😴
❌ Morning cortisol isn’t the enemy.
✅ It’s supposed to rise.
You have a natural cortisol awakening response — a surge that helps you feel alert, focused, and ready for the day.
When we intentionally train hard in the morning, we work with that rhythm instead of fighting it.
The goal isn’t to avoid cortisol.
It’s to support its natural rise and fall.
In perimenopause, that rhythm can get disrupted — which is why so many women feel wired at night and exhausted during the day.
If you want to understand your stress hormones and how to support your nervous system during this phase of life…
