Tonight, I’m feeling really, really grateful. ❤️
I had a full studio for my 5:00 Gentle Stretch class tonight, and I’m so grateful for every single one of these wonderful ladies who chose to spend part of their evening in my little studio in the woods.
Grateful for their trust, their laughter, their willingness to show up exactly as they are, and for the fabulous energy they bring into the room.
This little studio may be small, but it has such a big heart and that is absolutely because of the people who walk through the door.
Thank you for showing up.
Thank you for supporting my little dream.
Thank you for making this space what it is.
I appreciate each and every one of you more than you know. ❤️
Yoga for EVERY Body really does mean EVERY body and I’m so grateful you’re part of it. 🧘♀️

Strange & powerful sounds pretty damn good to me.
Women are given a never-ending list of rules about who we’re supposed to be.
Be strong, but not intimidating.
Be confident, but not “too much.”
Be independent, but don’t make anyone uncomfortable.
Take care of everyone else, but somehow remember to take care of yourself too.
Age gracefully. Look good. Stay small. Speak up… but not too loudly. 🙃
Honestly? No thanks.
Maybe we don’t need to fit neatly into anyone’s expectations.
Maybe we get to be complicated.
Messy. Joyful. Loud. Quiet. Soft. Fierce. Weird. Wonderful.
Maybe we get to take up space exactly as we are.
Strange and powerful.
I’ll take both please 🙏

New week, new opportunities to stretch, breathe, move, rest and reconnect.
No perfect poses required and no experience necessary — just come as you are.
All bodies. All levels. No judgement.
See you in the little studio in the woods.
Message to save your spot 🧘♀️

Behind every yoga teacher who dreams big is often someone quietly cheering them on, hauling things around, helping set up, listening to ideas, solving problems, and saying, “Sure, why not?”
And this fella right here has done ALL of that and so much more.
Thank you, my lovey, for loving me through every crazy idea, every new adventure, every class, workshop, retreat, pop-up and “I have an idea…” moment.
Thank you for believing in me, supporting me, and being willing to do just about anything to help me build Yoga for EVERY Body into the little studio in the woods I dreamed about.
I couldn’t do it without you. ❤️
Love & coconuts, always. 🥥❤️

There are some words that find their way back to us when we need them most.
I love this poem.....It was written during the pandemic, when the whole world was hurting, uncertain and trying to find its way through something none of us had experienced before.
And yet, reading it today—on September 11th—it feels just as relevant.
Different circumstances. Different kind of grief. But the reminder is the same: we need each other.
September 11th is a day that carries so much loss, heartbreak and remembrance. Twenty-five years later, I think about all the ordinary acts of extraordinary kindness that emerged from one of the darkest moments in our history—people helping strangers, neighbours looking out for neighbours, first responders running toward danger, and communities coming together simply because someone needed help.
Maybe that really is the revolution we need.
Not louder voices.
Not bigger divisions.
Not more reasons to decide who is us and who is them.
Maybe it is kindness.
Choosing compassion when we could choose judgement.
Offering help when we don't have to.
Forgiving when we can.
Looking after one another, even when we are different.
Because, in the end, none of us gets through this life entirely on our own.
May we remember. May we be gentle. And may kindness always be something we choose. ❤️

A LITTLE BREAK BEFORE FALL BEGINS! 🍂
This week, Yoga for EVERY Body is taking a short little pause — no classes this week — before we roll into our Fall Yoga Schedule next week! 🧘♀️
FALL CLASS SCHEDULE starting the week of September 14th.
Tuesdays AND Thursdays at 5:00 PM
Gentle Stretch 🧘♀️
Fridays at 7:30 AM
Chair Yoga 🪑
And because Yoga for EVERY Body really means EVERY Body… there may be an additional Chair Yoga class coming later this fall if there’s enough interest!
In the meantime, if a chair is what your body needs, we can absolutely incorporate chair options into our Gentle Stretch classes. There’s no requirement to get down on the floor — we’ll meet you exactly where you are.
Whether you stretch, sit, rest, wiggle, wobble, breathe, or simply show up… you belong here.

When I’m not doing yoga or teaching yoga, there’s another passion that is very close to my heart: supporting National Service Dogs. 🐾❤️
And for us, this isn’t just a cause we believe in—it’s personal.
Thanks to the incredible work of National Service Dogs, and the two amazing service dogs, Retired NSD Lynx and NSD Roxy, they raised and trained for my husband, our lives are completely different. We have experienced firsthand the difference a service dog can make—not just for the person they support, but for the entire family.
There are no words big enough to describe the gratitude we have for the people who dedicate their time, hearts, and energy to making these partnerships possible. So whenever there’s an opportunity to get out there and support NSD, you can pretty much count us in.
Yesterday, we headed to Chicopee Tube Park in Kitchener for the Climb for Veterans, benefiting National Service Dogs. And what a fantastic day it was!
And of course, I had my trusty sidekick Heshie with me.
Heshi takes his role as "Hiking Buddy" very seriously. He provided encouragement, entertainment, frequent sniff breaks, and absolutely no assistance whatsoever with keeping my pace. 😂 He was simply having the BEST. DAY. EVER.
There’s something pretty special about spending a day outside, surrounded by good people, supporting an organization that has made such a profound difference in our lives.
So here’s to National Service Dogs, the incredible people behind the scenes, the veterans they support, and the four-legged superheroes who make so much possible. 🐾
And to Heshie… thank you for being my hiking partner, my comic relief, and the reason I stopped approximately every 12 feet.
Yoga teacher. Veteran supporter. Dog mom.
Occasional mountain climber. Full-time treat dispenser...and I wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️

To all the wonderful, amazing humans who came out to Yoga at the Quinte West Pop-Ups this summer…
THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU! ❤️
You showed up in the sunshine
You showed up when it was a little too hot
You showed up when the grass was being mowed ALL around us 🤦♀️
You stretched. You breathed. You laughed.
And together… YOU MADE A DIFFERENCE!
Because of YOU, a donation of $400 goes right back into our local community!
$200 to Cooked With Love for Those That Need
$200 to the Trenton Care & Share Food Bank
And THAT is something worth celebrating!
This is why I love what we do. Yoga isn't about fancy poses, matching leggings, or being able to put your foot behind your head (thank goodness ).
It's about showing up. Connecting. Supporting each other. And making our little corner of the world a bit kinder.
You didn't just come to yoga.....You helped feed people. You helped support your community. And you reminded me once again why I absolutely LOVE this little yoga community of ours.
Until we meet on the mat again… 🧘♀️
