Every Friday my two employees, who are working towards their Ontario Hairstyling License, and I spend 3 hours learning and growing together

This day is super magical in our small space. Clients watch and sometimes even learn a thing or two, licensed stylists even pop in and out of the class, sometimes getting the odd lesson themselves or have some great things to add. It’s about a community of stylists growing together as a team and also as amazing individuals behind the chair

Let’s talk lighting 📸
These two photos were taken same day, and basically the same spot. The only difference is, I moved my body to allow the natural light to come in better.

This brings us back to how we all see colour...and you guessed it, everyone sees it differently. I tell my clients they need to look good in the bathroom (artificial light) and in the rear view mirror in the car (natural light) to give it the green check ✅ of approval.

Here’s my moral to the story, not every colour can really be exact to a photo. To my eye, Meghans colour looks more cool or white. However, in the second shot she looks more sand, oat toned. ❄️ or 🏝
•
Trust us! We are always looking to make you happy, and we always want you to love you hair...especially in your top viewed mirrors. 😜🙌🏼

My client is taking a year to work abroad. She came to me with some low maintenance requests, while still staying blonde. So we added baby lights and some contrast with lowlights, this way when her regrowth starts to grow in, she will have a more natural grow out, and lowlights to complement the new growth. Have a blast and see you in a year 🙌🏼
