PSA: whether you get lash extensions or not, you should ALWAYS.....ALWAYS clean them along with your face... Why, you ask. Let me tell you!

The Demodex mites, are an 8 legged, yes, this means they are arachnids, for all you arachnaphobiest out there. These little guys love to feed on your dead skin cells trapped in your hair follicles and when left unattended they will mate and lay eggs. They are microscopic to the naked eye and can cause irritation, build up, allergies and bacteria build up. Not only is it terrible to have on the natural lash but can damage your lash extensions too!

Water is not enough to keep your lashes clean make sure to get yourself a proper lash cleanser that won't irritate your eyes and won't ruin your lashes!

One of the most popular questions asked is, how often do I need a fill?

To be honest, thats a loaded question as there are so many factors!

Safest answer is every two weeks, but it really depends in your natural lashes and of course, many other factors.

Just like your hair, your lashes grow and shed in their own individual cycle, allowing new lashes to grow in place. Each lash you have is at various stages of the cycle, which is why you'll lose/shed a couple lashes a day. Since lash extensions are adhered to your natural lash, you will shed the extensions along with your natural lash.

That is why you'll want to get fills around every two weeks!

Your lash extensions should never damage your natural lashes. If they do, your extensions were either too long, or too thick for your natural lash state. This is why it's so important to lash artists to do only what your natural lashes can handle. Keeping in mind, this will be different for everyone!

If your lashes are short and thin, you will not achieve those Va Va Voom lashes you want without damage. However, I promise to do my best to accommodate you with a look that you will love while maintaining the health of your natural lashes.
