Back home from an amazing 🤩 vacation with a banged up shoulder BUT had to turn into the “Pesto Princess” 👸 this afternoon and get some put down for Fall! I bought some red basil this year and it did not disappoint! The colour takes some getting used to but I mixed in some green basil as well! 😚👍🏼

What are the keys to “successful” or optimal aging? A new study followed more than 7000 middle aged and older Canadians for approximately three years to identify the factors linked to well-being as we age. Here is what they found.

Just as we work out our bodies, we also need to exercise our 🧠 Brains! Mental training is like taking your brain to the Gym. We want our bodies to have many different gears and speeds...we also need the mind to be flexible, to shift into different gears depending on the task at hand. Try to incorporate some “Brain Training” into your workout regime every day. Crosswords, Sudoku, Cards, Puzzles and of course Music - just some of the many ways you can help to keep your Brain Fit!
