Weebee is an edgy, playful, and theatrical drag performer, twirling on the unceded ancestral territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh first nations people (Vancouver, B.C.) Weebee is known for her high energy performances, dad joke filled hosting, and ever so fluid sense of style. Depending on the day, the mood, or the cycle of the moon, Weebee can go from full electro-punk mall goth fantasy, to queer clown elaganza, to Hannah Montana realness. WEEBEE'S JOURNEY
Weebee’s drag journey began in 2020, in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, self proclaiming herself one of the many “quaran-queens” that came up during lockdown. Her drag career started over the internet, hosting virtual cabarets for Too Fly Productions, a burlesque company she had worked with before finding her alter-ego. In 2021 When lockdown loosened up, Weebee started spreading her juices at a local nerd bar, performing in their drag brunches on Sunday’s. After briefly entering the scene of live drag performance, her drag journey was once again halted due to lockdown #2. She continued creating looks, and practicing makeup in her apartment, primarily for the entertainment of her roommate and their plants. Although Weebee’s drag career began in 2020, Weebee has been on the stage her entire life. She grew up in Vancouver's vibrant musical theatre community, and trained in voice, dance, and acting all through elementary and high school. Weebee thought that business woman drag was the next logical step in her life, and got herself a degree in Business Management, where she was giving full suite up extravaganza on the runway (lecture hall) daily. When she graduated and moved back to Vancouver, she immediately got back on stage, but this time in the burlesque world. Performing in such a queer focused, welcoming environment is ultimately what lead her to feel safe enough to begin to explore the world of drag. In March of 2022, Weebee got a DM on instagram requesting that she audition for OutTV’s drag reality television competition, Call me Mother. Without hesitation, she took the leap, and the rest is herstory.
You don’t have to go bankrupt to be a baddie!
Drag is so much more than who put the most money into their luck, it’s personality, performance, and above all else artistry!
Coming out of the gate, and Custom is not an option for most people, and part of developing your style and persona should come from a little DIY rattiness!
I love to look gorge, and I love my customs, but I also think, throwing some stones on a little thrift store moment can be equal equally as glam, and often times more rewarding!

Calling all goths, clowns and queens! The vaults are open and I’m sharing my secrets because I’m NOT a girl to gatekeep and I want you to look your best ALWAYS!
I’ve been doing stark white clown since 2020 and these are my fool proof angels!
I’ve been unfortunately made aware that the MAC shivering white is no longer being made (reason #30000 to be a hoarder) but if you have any great replacements, let me know in the comments!

It shouldn’t be that hard!
That said being a good host comes from time and practice, so if you’re new, don’t be hard on yourself, but take note of what works and what doesn’t work. Go see shows and see what you like!

Might ruffle some feathers with this one, but if they were chicken, did it ever really matter?
If you feel personally victimized by any of these, maybe it’s a time to look in word and reflect on how your behaviour might be impacting others!
That said if you’re perfect, and don’t do any of these things, congratulations!
On today’s docket: TOOLS!
You’re only as good as your tools they say, but what they don’t say is that not all your tools have to be professional to look good!
If you’re doing a one time coloured paint, all you need is a dollar store brush. SWAP that tony bursary blender for a large sponge and cut your blend time in half. Doing detail work? Pickup a bail art brush and call it a day!
