Wash it once before first use, then stick to cold water on a gentle cycle. Skip the fabric
softener; it coats the fibers and kills the exact thing that makes microfiber so absorbent.
No bleach, no dry cleaning. Tumble dry low or let it air dry, and keep it away from high heat.

It’s the one thing in my bag that never lets me down.
New city, new hotel room, same soft ritual — this is the first thing I hang up, and somehow it’s out of my suitcase before anything else is. It dries fast enough to keep up with me, and the ritual doesn’t even stop at the bathroom door — balcony, terrace, wherever the view is, it comes too.
The best travel companion is the one you stop noticing you’re relying on.
