A house call bleach out and gradient lavender for new mama Alex.

Blonde that glows. My client came in for a half head touch up (this was first session together- and as I do, may have gone a bit beyond a half 🙃) She wanted to move away from more solid blonde to a rooted dimensional feel. Instead of adding low lights , I lifted to slightly lighter level than her previous colour and incorporated her older highlights with my new brighter ones. Finished with a root shadow half a shade deeper than she had before and this allowed all the new and old tones to really pop. I left out her ends for most of the process as they were a bit fragile and only dropped the bleach down for a for a few moments at the sink while pulling foils. Root shadow : Dia light 9+8 , mids Dia light clear, 10.82, 10.18 , a drop of violet booster +10 g Dia colour clear to pop it extra bright. Ends 10.82 +drop of violet booster and Dia colour clear. As always, prepped and protected with k18 and bonder inside lighter.

Just for fun, we decided to smooth my clients hair instead of our usual diffusion. (She hasn’t tried to in over 15 years ! ) first off - her curls are perfect and we both love them - but just for fun we thought why not. Service we did : Oribe serene scalp scrub (this feels amazing for hair that isn’t brushed deeply often , followed by Kérastase nutritive Bain satin riche shampoo and conditioner. Blow out - Kérastase gloss absolu frizz glaze creme mixed with Oribe straight away cream (I do what I want, ok) and finished with the L'Oréal Professionnel Paris steam pod 3.0 (used with the steam pod serum on dry hair ). The results were so smooth and glossy. If you want to add a steam pod to your service just ask when booking, there is a small fee for the timing.
