⇢ One of those touch-up sessions that finished so quickly because there was almost nothing to fix!
She’s been taking such good care of her brows and kept telling me how happy she is with them•• I literally grabbed my phone right away to capture this ♡ᜊ♡

Right after the procedure (and for the first few days), the edges can look more defined and crisp.

But after a full 4–5 weeks of healing, MM soft frame brows settle into something much softer.

”That’s when it starts to feel really natural“

Interestingly, a lot of clients after going through the healing phase tell me they miss that “day 1” boldness.
Part of it is just getting used to seeing brows on your face, and part of it is knowing how much they soften over time so you want that clean, defined look to last longer.

⇢ Now offering Nano Hairstrokes!
Some of you are probably like, "Wait, what even is that?"

Simply put, nano hairstrokes use fine, hair like strokes to mimic real brow hairs. It‘s one of the more sought after techniques right now, and for a lot of people, it feels lighter, more natural.

And I know the next question how does this compare to MM soft frame(shading)?
If you prefer a cleaner, more defined, polished look, soft frame(shading) might be a better fit.
But if you don’t want that overly "done" feeling, and instead want to softly fill in sparse areas and create the illusion of more fullness nano could be the right choice.

At the end of the day, it‘s not really about the technique. It depends on your natural brows, your skin, whether you have old pigment, and most importantly what kind of vibe you want❕
People don’t look at your brows and think, ”oh, that‘s nano“ or ”that’s shading.“
They just think it looks good, it suits you, it feels natural.

Up close, this is the vibe clean, soft, and polished!

This is immediately after the procedure. As it heals, the edges will soften slightly for a more natural finish, and the color will settle to about 80% of what you see now 🌱

Old pigment doesn’t just “fade away.” Your skin is a living system.
How pigment heals and ages depends on multiple factors technique, depth, pigment choice, but also your skin type and lifestyle.

Things like oil production, skin thickness, sun exposure, skincare habits, and even how your body holds pigment over time can all affect how your brows fade. That’s why some brows fade soft and clean and others shift in color.

𝗦𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗼 𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿?
🟠 𝘞𝘢𝘳𝘮 𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴 (𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦/𝘳𝘦𝘥)
Most modern pigments are blends of different color bases.
Over time, cooler tones tend to break down faster, leaving behind warmer iron oxide residues this is why brows can turn orange or reddish.

🩶 𝘊𝘰𝘰𝘭 𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴 (𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘺/𝘣𝘭𝘶𝘦)
This is often related to carbon-based pigments or depth.
When pigment is placed deeper in the dermis, light scatters differently through the skin this is known as the Tyndall Effect, which causes the color to appear cooler, darker, or greyish.
→ In these cases, the skin is often already saturated. Adding more pigment can lead to a muddy, unclear result.

That’s why sometimes, the most refined and predictable option is removal first, then redesign.

A cover-up is not about layering more pigment. It’s about understanding what’s happening under the skin and making the right decision from there.

Compared to her defined features, her natural brow hairs were softer and finer, which made them appear lighter overall. But her bone structure and the way her brows naturally grow already formed such a beautiful arch!

She brought in a reference with a clean, arched shape, so I stayed true to her natural pattern. No trimming just refining what was already there. Since she usually uses a dark brown pencil, I matched the tone closely to keep everything seamless and familiar ⋆ ˚｡⋆

And this is the result. Just by adding the right brows, her depth and natural presence feel even more elevated. Can you see it?👀
